[Reviewing this traumatising experience of our lives, something we’ll never forget]
Topic: Rat-related. Long review - proceed with caution.
We were having fun and enjoying ourselves when, out of no where, a big rat crash-landed onto our dining table from above, bringing along a cloud of dust.
(Imagine someone dropping a piece of big meat from the ceiling above you just like that, that’s how sudden and shocking it was)
The big rat landed on my friend’s hand, scratching her, then crawled across my arm before leaping to the floor.
At this point, the big rat had disappeared, still somewhere inside the restaurant. We were in complete shock, standing up and screaming in horror.
A staff member came over to see what happened and tried to calm my friend down, as he should, because she was rightfully panicking. But the audacity to tell her to “please calm down because you’re disturbing other customers” and to “not cause a commotion”? Are you serious?
(Meanwhile, I had to rush to the toilet to wash my arm)
Before you wonder - yes, the staff did eventually apologise and offered to move us to another table. But after going through something this traumatising, why would we even want to stay another second? One of my friends told them we were all leaving.
And then, the staff told us we had to pay for the drinks, they’d only cover the food. What in the world?
My friend was so furious, she called out their customer service on the spot. The staff’s response? “I’ve already apologised.” At this point, we were no longer just angry about the rat, we were livid at how badly the situation was being handled.
After a long back and forth, he finally agreed to waive the entire bill, which frankly, should have been offered immediately.
We left the restaurant immediately and headed straight to a healthcare professional to treat the scratch on my friend’s hand. We weren’t about to take any chances after a wild rat made contact with us.
A thorough hygiene check and clean-up must be done by the restaurant. Otherwise, please visit at your own risk, because you just might meet...
Read moreOk, i seldom rate a bar with such low rate. Yes, we were being inform that the bar was fully book at 9pm, hence we were being inform we can stay until 9pm. While enjoying our night, we were inform that we can extend the night we can stand from staff A, and staff B inform us that we need to leave at 9pm. By 9.15pm, we were asked to leave because the seat were booked at 9pm (and we done see people queue outsite, and a few table was empty) and when we query about it, we were told that the table was booked. My question: Booking 9pm, we stay until 9.15pm and there was no people queueing, what you mean by people booking? When you ask us to leave and there are empty table, why can't you assign us or the booked customer for others table? We don't get explaination, but the experience is not good as we spend a lot in the store. Frankly for your way of managing the bar, we will not coming back. Good...

Pork Sausage (RM6) Chicken Skin (RM6) Octopus Tentacles (RM6) - suprisingly tender and not rubbery. Baby Octopus (RM6) Oyster Mushroom (RM5) Cheese Tofu (RM5)
I’ll for sure be back for the skewers.
For hot dishes, I tried their: Creamy Prawn & Mentaiko (RM29.80) - I find this too rich for my liking, but my friends love it. Pork Katsu (RM26.80) - I like this one, it’s simple yet comforting for me (but not worth the price tag) Tempura Calamari (RM18.90) - Pretty basic, I expected not only rings for some reason. Teriyaki Salmon & Seaweed Pizza (RM29.80) - it’s on the sweeter side which is not my kind of pizza, again, my friends like it.
DRANKS: Somaek Tower (RM128) + Soju (RM29.80) — then only it’s...
