San Francisco Coffee KL Gateway — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Where have I been all this time? This newly renovated San Francisco Coffee at KL Gateway Mall is so spacious, bright, and comfy. The huge glass windows give a nice city view with natural light pouring in. Love the variety of seating — wooden chairs with red cushions, wireframe chairs, even cushy benches.

I’d say this is the first and only coffee spot I’ve come across that’s truly generous with charging outlets. Even the simple seats by the window have their own power ports. Just make sure to bring your international adapters if you’re not using a UK plug.

I order beverages and cheesecake. Pay using apps and choose online banking. Come at the counter to collect my order. End up the staff without sorry, said "we dont have cheesecake. We change with another cake, same price." I'm totally shock because they switch the order without sorry and asking permission. Directly serve in plate, hope people will eat what ever they serve. They give me chocolate cake which is the cake i dont like. Asking for refund, the staff said, "need to wait for the supervisor". I dont want to wait very long. So just accept it. I usually go to San Francisco Coffee because of its consistency. But the outlet in KL Gateway mall specifically is bad.

They usually have 2 to 3 barista on duty in the morning but only one is doing everything : taking order, making coffee, and lain-lain.

And today is even worse. Not just the service is super slow (as per usual), my order was made wrong : ordered iced latte and they made hot latte. When i told the barista my order was wrong, he just added ice into the hot latte, which made the coffee diluted with water since the milk from the hot latte is already steamed. More like...
