In Taman Kuchai Jaya, many patrons know that here is famous for one thing and that’s Fish Head Noodle. I can smell the aroma of the wine simmering in the bowl of seafood broth. Inside were thick chunks of fried fish head, preserved vegetables, tomatoes and yam. Fleshy fried fish pieces were aplenty as well. Stir-fried potato noodle; they use mashed potato and mix together with flour. Using this sort of noodle, the chef fried with minced pork meat and dried fungus. Result, quite tasty. Stir fried noodles with pumpkin and salted egg yolk. It’s never easy to cook tung fun for they stick together easily, given their starchiness. A strange combination, no doubt, and perhaps the generous portion of pumpkin is bit too much, and perhaps less is more, but still very good. Deep fried chicken wings marinated with Guinness Stout (have to marinated for over night). The taste is very sweet and you can smell the aroma of the Stout which gives tenderness to the chicken wings. Delicious!

Support for clean looking and delicious food! Many varieties of home cooking food available. Delicious and the price is average. Compared to the famous XO fish head noodle located at the same row, this shop feels a lot more like a good place to properly dine, during COVID-19 pandemic here has cleaner surrounding and I felt safe to dine here rather than the other restaurant. Not sure if they changed the operator of the restaurant, but the entire restaurant became more clean looking than before. Only problem is there is not many available parking out there, and most people are going to be attracted to the other famous XO restaurant. Please do leave your contact information on your dashboard of your car if you need to obstruct someone’s car.

The food is nice here and it's not hard to find. Good place to dine in. Ordered 1. Mantis Prawn Fried rice - Deep fried mantis prawn is still crispy even after some time, fried rice is tasty. 2. Pumpkin fried glass noodles - This dish is fried with Pumpkin, Glass noodle and most important Salted Duck Egg yolk. Very fragrant and tasty. 3. XO Fish Head Noodle - The soup itself is so tasty that you'll keep drinking the whole time, soup is even refillable. Combination of the fish, noodle and soup is just perfect. 4. Yam Abacus - This one I don't really like it but it's worth a try, not my cuppa tea. Overall satisfied with the food. One dish to introduce is Claypot 'Mouse Noodles' is a nice dish as well. Will always come back for the food.
