Terrible service, expensive but bad food. First of all, server sat us at a booth, when we tried to order with the ipad, it doesnât work. Then a male server came and told us rudely âwe closed this booth thatâs why the ipad is offâ. No apologies, and expect the customer to know that your staff sat us at the wrong booth??
Next, the ipad/app has terrible interface. Scrolling was difficult and frustrating. We tried to call a waiter over for manual ordering. Again, he acted like we owe him money. Insisted that we order through ipad and when we said that itâs laggy, he snapped at us impatiently âlet me let meâ and unplugged the ipad to click for us.
After all the trouble just to sit and order, the food finally came. I ordered a bento, salmon was paper thin, and a fishcake came COLD inside. The hot water dispenser gave me lukewarm water. My âhotâ green tea was basically slightly green tinted water.
The whole time, the 2 servers seemed like they were hanging out chilling, unattentive and impatient when patrons asked for anything, acting like we were interrupting their date.
2 other customers came in at 9.12pm and they were turned away because âkitchen is closedâ. On a saturday?

We went from lower floor and walked all the way up to search for this all day-value meals RM 14.90. Walked in at around 3.20pm. The restaurant is not crowded as only two tables with customers but there were at least 2 tables we seen with the left over or dirty plates left by the customers were not cleaned. Only two staff were seen. One at the counter and another staff was at the corner. We sat down and tried to search for this all-day value meals but we couldn't see any! Then we asked for help from the staff and the staff that approached us was a bit confused and kept asking us to search at value meals section on iPad but we checked thoroughly for many times. In short, the so called all-day value meals were rather a scam as it seems it doesn't exist with the price and offer as shown on the ads, and neither the staff nor the sunway velocity management aware of it!...

(1) This Sushi King outlet environment feels quite run-down and poorly maintained. (2) Tablet ordering system is slow and not user-friendly. (3) Supervisor was went missing, or sitting and seen playing on the phone instead of managing the floor and customers. (3) Sushi chef was procosinating and walking around looking for his power bank instead of preparing food. (4) The only positive note was the young Muslim staff member (without spec and slim) who worked diligently and attended to us and other customers promptly, credit to him for his effort and professionalism (The staff shown in picture).
Unfortunately, the rest of the team did not seem motivated, which really affected the overall dining experience.
