There are a few stalls that in my selection at this hawker center ie nasi lemak, beef noodle and the fresh water prawns & fish beehoon.

Today i wanted to share the beef noodle. The noodle in hakka style having the mixed texture of instant noodle and wanton noodle. Flavour is at the sweet side from the added mince meat condiment.

I preferred my noodle in dried style come with a bowl of beef mixture (fresh beef meat, beef stomach and beef tendon) soup. The chilly sauce condiment is a must, add some into your mee and soup enhance the overall flavour.

Very few places having stuffed beef ball and you can order from this stall.

The soup taste is not the best that i ever tried (my personal taste bud). However is worth a try.

As for drink, i will prefer a glass of soya bean drink, thick texture with full flavour of soya bean. Drink it hot will bring out the soya bean flavour...

First impression of the shop is it's old, gloomy and un-inviting. Nevertheless, my goal was to try out their much vaunted A-Heng Beef Noodle.

A quick glance around inside this corner-lot shop, there's also pan-mee, c-k-t, wanton noodle, malay nasi lemak, c-c-fun, fish head noodle, etc.

It took a mere 10 minutes for my "kon-low" beef noodle order to be served accompanied with a bowl of piping hot beef & tendon soup.

Noodles tasted bland and lifeless - not al-dante (lacking texture) - so to speak. Soup was piping hot but with overpowering taste of kayu manis and star anise - which, more or less, makes up a big part of its flavour. Big plus point was the generous offering of beef and tendon per order and they were cooked well and tender to the bite.

My overall rating of this highly acclaimed beef noodles is 6/10. Would I return? Well, all I can say is "been...
