Xiang Xiang Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This restaurant would get my 6 stars if possible. I tried the chicken rice. It was way above average. Chicken, nice & juicy and rice, fluffy & fragrant. Also had sprinkling of fried garlic on it. Came with iced chinese tea, soup and a slice of watermelon! ..... only RM3.95. Thats why its worthy of that extra star. I also had a round of economy rice. Piled it high with sweet & sour pork and potatoes...... only RM6.50.... also came with tea, soup & watermelon! Oh.... very very tasty.... i have spent over RM10 elsewhere for an identical selection (minus the drink, soup & watermelon) and not as satisfying as this! Thank you Siang Hiang for making affordable meals...

Another ordinary mixed rice restaurant with average variety of dishes: around 30-40 choices. RM12 for my plate without rice but with huge portion comprises 1 meat, 2 vege and 1 egg. A reasonable price but not cheap. The environment is like a very ordinary kopitiam style which is not very pleasant for an enjoyable meal. The food taste is ordinary with fried pork(not using a belly portion) is salty and hard. Giving a free watermelon is a small merit to the charges as one has to compromise by eating at the corridor.

Basically it's another ordinary eat and go place to settle your quick meal,...

Thursday 3 April 2025 - known this place for a long time. They used to be in the business park opposite of the current location.

When they were in the business park, they have moved twice. The current location is the third time.

Mainly mixed rice. Food is good, prices is very reasonable. Pick and choose what you like and you'll be charged accordingly and pay at the cashier's counter. Free soup, plain water and Chinese tea, but self service.

Other drinks, can be ordered, at the cashier's counter.
