Been here once a long time ago when it first started. They serves Soups, Porridge, Salted/Rice Wine Chicken, Bakt Kut Teh and other unique style of dishes.
Atmosphere: 4.25🌟 Very cooling air condition, no fans and it's not required. Infact, if you scared of cold you should bring a jacket. Tables are close with each other and the chairs are not comfortable. It's not a place that meant to hang out for long (perhaps that was the intention). The background music is soft and nice. This place is not big and it's very packed during peak hours especially at dinner time (even till after 8 pm).
Food: Rice Wine Kampung Chicken 3.5🌟 Taste good and flavour quite balanced. However, the flavour is mostly in the sauce and not so much on the chicken. The chicken skin is very brown but not really flavourful. Had to keep dipping the meat or take spoonful of the sauce to eat together to enjoy it better. Doesn't taste tough for Kampung Chicken and it's only drumstick and thigh. Priced at Rm 25+, it may not be worth eating.
Food: Shrimp Sauce Fried Chicken Wing 4.25🌟 Super delicious, probably because I do like shrimps. Careful, it's very hot especially when it's served. Even after 15 minutes, the heat smoke can still be clearly seen when you tear it apart. The skin is so crispy and crunchy and yet the meat is tender and juicy where it accidentally shoots out when I bite it. The skin is very flavourful and nice but I think it's a bit salty so save some rice for it just in case. 2 wings for Rm 14+ is definitely not cheap but worth experiencing it.
Drink: Hawthorn Apple 3.5🌟 Not a fan of apple but the combination works. Sweet and slightly sour, it's a drink with a deep nice flavour. Priced at Rm 4.50+

Read moreI used to be a regular here. The food was good, and the table arrangement was acceptable. However, things took a turn for the worse after they renovated, cramming more tables into the same space. It’s now uncomfortably packed. The service has also slowed down, and the new menu is confusing—sets are restricted to specific soups.
To make matters worse, I couldn't even order a set at 6 PM because a staff member told me that there was enough pork for à la carte orders but not for sets. I have no idea what that means—does the set portion contain more pork than the à la carte option, even though à la carte is more expensive?
When I tried ordering the soup à la carte (which was the only option available in the set), the lady boss told me it was sold out. So now I'm confused—what exactly was sold out?
Well, I guess it's time to look for an...

Food are simple fare of boiled soups, porridge and home style stir fried dishes. Ordered the mixed pork porridge and boy was it satisfying. Silky with a variety of ingredients like fired crispy intertwines, pork belly, blood cakes and lean meat. Add-on items are available for the porridge to suit personal taste. Stir fried lady’s finger was well pulled off, nice balance of spice from the chilli and fragrance of the dried shrimps. Importantly the vegetables wasn’t over cooked and still retained a crunch. Their self-brewed tea selection is a must order as well.
Staff and owner are friendly and efficient in their service. Condiments like garlic, chopped chilli, shallots, sesame oil, pepper and soy sauce are brought to you on...
