Today we visited La Sal Restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel special throughout the evening.
An added bonus was the stunning beachside location. We were lucky enough to have a table right by the beach, and the sunset view was nothing short of breathtaking. It created the perfect, romantic ambiance for our anniversary dinner — top notch experience.
The service was outstanding — the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Not only did they provide excellent service, but they were also incredibly kind and accommodating when we asked if there was a space for us to perform Maghrib prayer. They graciously offered us a quiet place, making the evening even more special.
The food was nothing short of fantastic. Each dish was beautifully prepared, bursting with flavor, and clearly crafted with care. The highlight of the meal was the crispy soft shell crab pasta, which was simply outstanding.
To our delight, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary cake to mark our anniversary. It was a thoughtful and sweet gesture that truly added a personal touch to our celebration. The cake was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to an already incredible meal.
Overall, we are so grateful for the kindness and attention to detail from the staff, and we’ll definitely be returning to La Sal Restaurant for future celebrations. When we arrived, we loved the place, the customers who were there where mostly older, showed us a friendly smiles. And we smiled back cos we are polite as they are.
We never disturb anyone. We enjoyed our own company.
Barman Mood was friendly and nice and we like him. When Mood left for a break, another bar staff came and engaged a conversation with us. Being polite, and courteous we give ears to him, when we left that barstaff told another malaysian indian customer that "Abang dia gatal" Very nice of him to malign us. Some more say it to another customer.
Is that how Casa Del Mar Hotel and La Sal Restaurant standards? You make single ladies/women customers feel unsafe.and insecure.
If you are younger ladies/women and not accompanied by your other half, dont be friendly when you visit La Sal Restaurant at Casa Del Mar Langkawi or else you will be maligned by the disgraceful staff.
We went to Bamboo Ba after. Different type of place from La Sal but more well-mannered and gracious staffs and barman. Treat us with respect and high regard. We had so much fun at Bamboo Ba, that we were able to forget the disheartening malicious comment we heard. from La Sal.

Read moreCelebrated my wife birthday last Friday there, prior arrangement been made to have decoration of roses petals all over the table.
When arrived, only 5 petals available on the table.. its fine.. after the dinner, i question the staff on the pictures and reality of what im going to pay for which is rm250 for decoration..
The staff told me it was because of wind that blew off the petals from the table without even apologising from the start claiming its not their fault. So i asked her is there anything she can do on the decoration fees which she then told me she will get the manager to attend me..
Manager came, starting the conversation im the manager here and start being defensive on the problem here without feeling sorry. And the manager named Mars which i were told by the staff before leaving. The manager kept telling me that its not their problem that the table only left 5 petals. My concern was not address properly which then he came into a conclusion of giving me 50% discount for the decoration fees.
To be honest, the only differences for walk in and prior arrangement is only the petals with white table and chair cloth. Theres no balloons as well but thats not the point.. we have no problem spending the money there but rm250 for 5 rose petals..
Im not some fussy customer but at least show sympathy and logics.. always apologies to your customer first not telling them youre the manager. Is this how you treat...
