Great spot for a drink on the beach & also to watch the sunset. They have loads of bean bags that they put out a few hours before & waiters will bring you your food & drink. Only downside was the prices. I know they're not expensive when compared to Singapore or even Ireland, but at 9 MYR for a Tiger it was nearly double the price of a beer at a bar about 100 meters down the beach.

Great view, and freindly staff good food and drinks and a relaxing atmosphere to sit on the beach at sunset and watch the beautiful sunset... Is Called Kalut Bar and not Mali Mali Beach Bar from 2016

Sunset here is awesome! Beanbags are dreamy. Music is banging...literally, its so loud you can barely talk to your neighbour. But we loved it! Talking is boring anyway.

What's really to fault? You got beautiful sand and sea, a lightshow in the distance and pretty reasonably priced beers for Malaysia standards that you can also for a change drink outside in public. The bean bags on the beach are a fantastic concept, good way to huddle around with mates. Whatever you do, just be careful and don't expect getting up from the beanbags to be too easy if you've...
