My husband and I had a superb romantic dining experience at Lancava. We spent hours here and would definitely love to come back. This visit was the highlight of our trip to Langkawi. The restaurant offers a relaxing ambiance with rhythmical background music, amazing sea views (make sure to reserve a table), and friendly, prompt service.

The waiter was well-trained and knowledgeable about the dishes, explaining how each one is prepared and the ingredients used. He gave us a great introduction and food presentation, from wine and appetizers to the main course. They even surprised us with a dessert that had "Happy Honeymoon" written on it, which warmed our hearts.

We strongly advise arriving before sunset at 6 PM to enjoy some drinks and watch the beautiful view before dinner.

What we loved: Appetizer: The focaccia was different tastes from the classic, being crispy, soft, and warm. Starter: The tomato salad was flavorful, with sweet tomatoes and a combination of sea grapes, balsamic vinegar balls, and burrata cheese that surprised our taste buds with every bite. Main Course: The ribeye was as large as a face, served with a unique Béarnaise sauce that had a foamy yet creamy texture. I recently had the pleasure of celebrating both my birthday and wedding anniversary at Lancava Langkawi, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a perfect afternoon.

We opted for the four-course lunch, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of exquisite flavors. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional, with each course thoughtfully curated to highlight the best ingredients. Every bite was a delight, making the meal feel like a true celebration of fine dining.

Beyond the incredible food, what truly made our experience special was the amazing hospitality of the staff (Wan served us). Attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure our special occasion was memorable. Their attention to detail and warm service added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience.

Lancava is undoubtedly a must-visit for anyone looking for a refined dining experience in Langkawi, whether for a special occasion or simply to indulge in top-tier cuisine. my family had the best experience ever, everyone welcomes you, we got a room with a beautiful sunset view and everyone makes you feel comfortable, they started off asking if we would like any water and gave us recommendations to ensure we don’t miss out on the best choices, were very knowledgeable about all the dishes and history of the place. different waiters would come in the room to check up on us and ask if the food is great and if we are doing well so far which we thought was really great as it led to us having conversations which made the overall experience feel very homely. the food oh my god…. where do i even start…. everything compliments so well with each other and its all cooked PERFECTLY, seriously we ascended to the gates of heaven… the main reason to why we ate here was because we wanted to celebrate my birthday! we already knew that they prepared a complimentary cake for me but we didn’t expect the whole staff crew to come out and sing me a happy birthday?! not only that they gave us another 2 cakes as a surprise too!!! all the cakes were different and it was all so delicious…. seriously i wish i could give more than 5 stars, the service, the people, the food, the interior, everything about it is good🥹 thank you for making our trip end on a...
