BEST CAFE IN LANGKAWI! (I thought this would be a tourist trap but surprisingly it is not & I love the risotto & coffee) ♥️♥️♥️ Vibes & view were great too (beach is right in front of you)!

We had squid ink seafood risotto, chicken chop (chicken thigh) with creamy mushroom sauce, salted caramel latte, tiramisu latte & matcha san. The bill came up to RM $143.30 (very reasonable for the food & coffee quality and vibes imo).

The squid ink seafood risotto is highly recommended, rice texture was just nice (not too overcooked or hard), the squid ink sauce was slightly savory but not salty & had this hint of sweet fresh seafood taste. The dish came with 2 scallops, 2 prawns & aplenty squid (really generous serving of seafood & great overall)! (Think RM $38 for all of these)

Next, the chicken chop with creamy mushroom sauce was average (they used chicken thigh instead of fillet so there's bones & hence isn't to our liking). The creamy mushroom sauce was whitish as compared to the usual dark brown sauce so it was on the lighter side. Chicken meat was tender so no complaints on that. The secret ingredients were actually vegetables (broccoli, coleslaw, potatoes).

For the drinks, the serving time took longer than expected but it was all worth the wait. The iced salted caramel latte had the right balance of salted caramel plus espresso plus milk & didn't taste diluted at all! Personally, I would recommend the tiramisu latte (latte topped with thick condensed milk / cheese foam & soft biscuit)! Dip the soft biscuit into the latte to soften it a little bit & pair it with a sip of the savory foam plus coffee. Loved how well the different layers mix well together! When you're done with the biscuit, use the straw to scoop up the foam, have a mouth of it then drink the coffee altogether 🙃

After our meal, I ordered the matcha san (matcha latte) for takeaway & the matcha taste was very strong, thick & not too sweet (Asian way of saying it's really great!)

I love that they have a large & extensive variety of food (mostly western) & fanciful drinks available so you will definitely be spoilt for choices (at a very reasonable price also)!

Vibes is 10/10 also cause you have direct beach access & views! We went during lunch so it wasn't that crowded. Tables, seats & toilets were clean as well (no remnants of sand).

I would definitely revisit this cafe! Highly...

Hidden Langkawi is one of those rare beach cafés that truly capture the essence of island life — relaxed, scenic, and full of energy. Nestled right by the shoreline, it offers a direct view of the sea, making it a perfect spot to unwind while feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the gentle rhythm of waves 🌅🍃.

The café has a rustic, bistro-style setup with open-air seating, cozy lighting, palm trees swaying in the background, and the sound of music blending beautifully with the seaside atmosphere 🎶🌴. Whether you visit during the day or after sunset, the place has its own charm. In the daytime, it’s calm and soothing — ideal for coffee or a light lunch while soaking up the sun ☕🍝. As evening approaches, it transforms into a lively hangout — the beach lights up, people gather around, and the energy rises 🌇💃.

The menu offers a good mix of Western comfort food and drinks. Their pizzas 🍕 and pastas 🍝 are quite popular, and the mushroom soup 🍄 is a comforting starter if you prefer something light. They also serve a wide range of beers 🍺, cocktails 🍹, and liquors, making it a great spot to chill out in the evening. The food is decent — not extraordinary, but satisfying enough given the view and vibe. Prices are slightly on the higher side 💸, but it’s understandable considering the beachfront location and overall experience.

One of the main highlights here is the night fire show 🔥🎭. It adds a burst of excitement and makes the whole place feel alive. Watching the fire performers with the sound of the waves in the background is truly mesmerizing — an experience you shouldn’t miss.

What makes Hidden Langkawi special is its easygoing yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s perfect for couples 💑 looking for a romantic evening, groups of friends 🧡 wanting to chill, or solo travelers ✨ who just want to relax by the beach. Whether you’re there for the food, drinks, or just to soak in the sunset, it’s hard not to fall in love with this place.

In short, Hidden Langkawi isn’t just a café — it’s a whole vibe. Come for the view, stay for the fire show, and leave with memories that linger long after the waves fade 🌊💫.

💸 Price: Slightly expensive but worth it for the location and ambiance 🔥 Highlight: Fire Show at night 🌅 Best Time to Visit: Around sunset — stay till night to enjoy the lights and...

Delicious food. Friendly service. Spectacular view. Blazing entertainment. Hidden has it all! I am genuinely impressed by this restaurant/ bar. Right smack by the beach, you get the sea breeze, the sand between your toes and that glorious Malaysian sun. Pasta al Tonno (pasta with tomatoes n tuna): 10/10 this was stunning. Chunky pieces of delicious tuna, tossed with olives and tomatoes and herbs making this dish a wonderful representation of the ocean. With little hints of spiciness that adds a beautiful punch to this dish. Highly recommended. Mango Margarita: 8/10 - refreshing, tropical, sweet but not too sweet 🤭with the little kick of alcohol to make everything better. Fried calamari: 7/10 crispy battered calamari with a side of slaw. Some of the calamari were too batter-y but the crisp on them is amazing! Fish & Chips: 8/10 crispy fried fish on a bed of chips. Well done, simple and good. No complaints! Coconut: no score - cuz made by the coconut tree. So he gets all the credit! Sweet, refreshing and pure. Cheesy nachos: 6.5/10. Never met a nachos i truly like (cud be the problem is me). It’s always crispy for the first few seconds. Then everything turns soggy and the oozy cheese becomes sticky and hard-y 🤭 but i like it. Just, i’m not sure how to properly enjoy a big plate of nachos. U tell me? Overall score: 7.9/10 Bonus score: + the view (oh my the view… the most beautiful sunset!!) + the friendly service + the fire show (the best show in Langkawi - ive been to a few) 🧡 New Overall Score: 10/10 🥵 IG: CanEatOneMehhh
