Today I went for late lunch.i request for 4pax banana meal.i wait for 20minit just for serve the rice. But that time only have 9pax eating in shop including ours.I request for side dish. Which is chicken fry and fish fry.my sister ask why the tenggiri fish is too small,the server reply.we only have this,we cannot catch from sea. She tell with rude tone. Then my sister ask why u being rude, we are paying customer. The server reply, we serve what u pay. Then we request for owner to talk. She simply say, I am owner. Then my sister fold the banana leaf without eating, when to pay.she ask for owner, the cashier reply, owner when out,i am owner mother. My sister tell the incident to restaurant owner mother. The Aunty reply the server is my granddaughter. She ask for bill to pay, we still pay for four banana meal,chicken fry and fish fry without eating. The owner grand daughter still show attitude, saying watch your mouth.the owner grand daughter mother came out from kitchen,she hit the table and shout at my sister, are u done make payment ,get out from shop. They are being very rude to customer. But the owner mother did not saying anything. My husband shout at that lady mother,pls give respect and take respect.we left the shop with stressful and being hungry. Selvam Restaurant is an Indian restaurant located in Jalan Temenggong, Melaka. It is roughly 5 minutes walk from H&M Jonker Walk. the restaurant serves a wide variety of Indian food including roti canai, thosai, puri, teh tarik, chicken curry, etc. A combination of roti canai (plain) with dhall and sardines sauce, puri and teh tarik is a must in the restaurant. The price is reasonable. Like all Indian restaurants in town, Selvam does not serve roti canai, thosai and puri during lunch hours. The dishes are only served during breakfast and dinner.
