Newly opened at one of Jalan Tengkera's long and narrow shop house, it serves dishes of Melaka's sister state called Penang.
We ordered the more familiar dishes like assam laksa and hokkien mee, accompanied by rojak, ABC and Cendol as dessert.
If you want char kuey tiau, there are some days they don't serve, so better call them to avoid disappointment.
Personal opinion: • I felt that the laksa would taste better with thicker broth, need more fish meat inside for the oomph. • Hokkien mee broth is sweet with prawn flavour, and is quite generous. • Rojak is full of the heavy rojak sauce, so if you like that this is nice. • I will order the Cendol again if come here next time. •Most worker have mask on, only 1 didn't, I truly feel that food operators could be more proactive in protecting...

Asam Laksa - Nice! Similar to the one I had in Penang! Ikan tongkol quite a lot, but a lot of bones as well. Curry Laksa - Too much coconut milk in my opinion, will be a bit jelak after eating half a bowl. Penang CKT - Quite nice but portion pretty small for this price. Lor Mee - If you like starchy food, can try the lor mee here. Not much 'liao' inside btw. Fruit rojak - Not worth it IMO, kuah is very sweet, portion is very small as well. Can get better rojak else where. Cendol - Taste okay, but its not like the Teo Chew Cendol at Penang.
Overall, I think the Asam Laksa was the best. The rest are so so only. Would probably try the Hokkien Mee in the future if I dine...
Read moreMy family loves to dine in I Love PG(since its reopening, went there 3-4 times in a week). They served very nice authentic penang food. I personally like the dry Hokkien Mee (Prawn Noodle) & Penang Char Koay Teow, and of course the Curry Chicken served with fragrance white rice which tasted just like a home cooked meal is so far the best I have tasted. Tasted many cendul in Melaka but none of them beat the cendul served here with the thick gula Melaka (I wish they could serve in a bigger bowl...), it is really nice till the last drop. My wife love their prawn noodle, the soup was definitely "souped" with fresh prawn head, not forgetting the sambal petai with prawn(my daughter‘s favourite). All the food served were very flavourful & generous amount with reasonable price plus the staffs who served our food were very customer-oriented. The boss was...
