Please do avoid in staying and booking this Junior Room.||||After my booking and stayed, I did the review again on others guess feedback on this hotel. And found that what I experienced stay is same as what others guess experienced too.||||1. Card scanning issue, which very difficult in accessing the door room, only giving 1 access card. Other guess commended that "Need to pay another deposit to get 2nd access card" ||2. Toilet easily flooded, bad water drainage, ||3. From the Agoda page, I have made my selection for King bed, but the Malay lady front desk told me that, I did not indicate the remark during my booking, and the room is subject to availability, said is room is fully book, and giving me the 2 twin bed and combine together become a double bed.||||My statement and experience may refer to others guest reviewed too at Agoda.com by searching the Rating, low to high as below or may refer to photo attachment:||||Page 1: Junior Room, Stayed 1 night in July 2022, Reviewed July 10, 2022, with title "Bed"||Page 1: Junior Room, Stayed 1 night in July 2020, Reviewed July 12, 2020, with title "Disappointed stay”||Page 2: Junior Room, Stayed 1 night in November 2019, Reviewed December 04, 2019 with title "THE FRONT DESK MALAY GIRL IS A LIAR”||Page 3: Junior Room, Stayed 1 night in May 2019, Reviewed May 22, 2019 with title "not value for money with low facilities”||Page 5: Junior Room, Stayed 1 night in January 2018, Reviewed January 20, 2018, with title "I have requested for king size bed. Terrible Hotel: The walls/windows are not soundproofed, I can hear the vehicles outside, it is very noisy and disruptive to sleep. The room is dirty. There is dust everywhere. The toilet walls and tap are mouldy with mildew. It can be seen in the pictures I have taken. I seriously doubt whether they clean the room properly. The air conditioner is extremely noisy, also disruptive to sleep. There is NO breakfast, not even a paid one. So you are forced to go outside to find a place to have breakfast. Yea There are ants in the rooms. The room doors are pretty faulty. It takes 3 taps of the keycard to unlock the door. There is also no telephone to call for room service/ask questions are whatever. You have to go down personally to get anything. You also can’t airdrop or screen mirror your device to their very old tv even though they claim it’s possible. Don’t even try. The safe was also not reset when we arrived at the hotel room. Had to go back down to reception to get them to fix it. I would like to emphasise on how dirty the hotel is once again. The lift lobbies are very dusty. Everything in this hotel is dusty in general. Everything is also just old and not well-maintained, also the only hotel where I have sneezed more than 10 times over 2 days. The dust is terrible. The only place here that looks decent is the reception lobby. All in all, I would say this hotel is absolutely not worth staying. It’s more like a 2-star hotel than a 3-star hotel. Very low budget, not worth 210 Ringgit a night for a 1 single bed 1...

Our room has a missing fridge upon checking in. Informed their front desk when on our way out to dinner and was told that they will look into it - the end nothing was done on their part.

Toilet is not spacious but enough for comfort. Attach shower with hot water available. Toiletries provided. Towels very limited.

We happen to lose one of the room key when we were out the night and was informed 20 ringgit to be deducted off our deposit. A further 20 ringgit needed IF we needed an extra (new) key! Weird because most hotel would just give one without charging.

Parking space very limited and in the open space - so be prepared for a first come serve parking and wet weather.

No food and beverage outlet available within the hotel. The cafe located at the lobby is no longer in operation.

Nearby convenience store (mini mart) located about 5mins drive. So stock your own food and drinks prior your stay here.

Don't expect much of this hotel; stay here only if you're planning for a quick night rest before continuing on your journey in...

Affordable hotel(paid about $50sgd per night) that is about 15 minutes walk from Jonker Street. Pros - Hotel staff allows u to check in early(I checked in at 1pm) - not too close to jonker area so the hotel is quiet - There is a safe, fridge, hairdryer and toiletries(towel, shampoo, body foam, shower cap, toothbrushes) are provided. - the hotel has a pick up/drop off area so it was easy to take a grab from the hotel -There was an ironing board and water dispenser near the lift area. -hotel deposit was only 50rm (lower than other hotels) -walkable from Jonker Street Cons - The lighting in the hotel room is really insufficient. It was so dim at night. - The toilet's ceiling paint peeled off and fell on the floor when my friend took a shower and accidentally pointed the water towards the ceiling. - There are no floor slippers. - limited TV channels(mostly malay channels) - bed was creaky and made a lot of noise whenever I get up from the bed.

This is a fantastic hotel which I would totally recommend for your next stay. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, cold aircond, modern furnishings and the toilet is equipped with the usual complimentary shampoo, shower gel, and a modest selection of additional items like a shower cap, razor, toothbrush kits, etc. The front desk personnel are wonderful as well. They're warm and friendly, happy to chat and very accommodating if it's within their means to do so. It's a 3 star hotel with 5 star service! The photos are from the Premier room we stayed in. They also provide a free parking lot behind the building for guests who drove there, with an access door leading directly to the lift lobby, as well as a few spots at the side and in front of the building. All in all, it was a great experience and this hotel would be our first choice the next time we're back in Melaka.
