Had their high tea today. When I got there the place was practically deserted, only 1 couple with their 5mths old baby girl. First, I had t Chinese noodle with clear soup soup, pretty nice n resfreshing hot soup, next had t nasi lemak, t worst nasi lemak I've ever had, rice was grainy, not lemak/ room temp, t sambal tasteless. They had ready made rojak, kimchi n potato wages for cold appetiser , no very appetising/appealing both in taste n visual, selection of salad n dressing was ok. Leek soup was warm. Main course, dry white rice n dry mee goreng (tasteless), lemak ayam(not flavourful), slice beef in black sauce is pretty good, battered stemed fish in a kind of green sauce (well i don't what to say about this dish),soft taufu(not to my liking) fried Chinese vegt, all the dishes was not hot at all(room temperature) Deserts, malay kueh was ok, t western deserts was pretty good esp t chocolate, red velvet n carrot cake, bubur kachang (if only they served it hot will b delightful), self made ABC(nothing great), ice creams four flavour. Hot drink, coffee /tea(wasn't hot at all) Service, lots of staff but no one clear my used plate(7). Issac disappeared after charging me for t high tea, malay girl in white tudong just hang around t cashier counter, plumish Chinese girl busy wiping /replenishing plate n cutlery n few other staff who couldn't be bothered about their customer. Generally many staff but no service at all. Well ibis, Estrada hotel nonya high tea is way much better in terms of food quality n service then ur mediocre high tea, I'm truly disappointed.

we tried the breakfast buffet and lunch buffet here. there is a wider selection of food for lunch, however the breakfast spread is quite a lot too. the lunch buffet has seafood, prawns and fish. the meat are cooked till tender and still moist on the inside. lovely. the mushroom soup is delicious. ingredients are very fresh with q texture, soup texture is creamy. the pasteries are satisfying especially the carrot cake with cheese topping and traditional kue. teh tarik is rich and good, so is the coffee. love the fresh fruits. there are pineapple, watermelon and honeydew for lunch and orange, watermelon and honeydew for breakfast. the curries and sambal are good, spicy enough. there is ice cream for lunch. the staff are very helpful, effective and patient. they are patient to listen to our queries. they clear our used plates very quickly. the seats are cushioned and very comfy. decor of the restaurant is bright and modern. it is a relaxing place to hangout.

13/03/2022 Buffet breakfast, RM 29 walk in price, RM 25 if booked in advace. Their restaurant is on par with their hotel level. I would consider them mid range hotel, but a bit better than direct competitor. Consider some mid range hotel restaurant only provide simple cereal, bread and beans, they make it a bit further by having beef bacons, purple mash potato. Other than that, not much special, mee, nasi lamak, fried stuff, etc One downside, they do not replenish food on time, so lots of empty food slots. One customer complained so loud that the manager have to come down. I think this is understandable due to covid, everybody is trying to save a little here and there, especially tourist related field. Final verdict. Their food is on par with their hotel level, which is mid premium. However, at this time, some premium hotel restaurant dropped their price to RM29, and also having better experience in everyway.
