Hmm… We reached the place around 7pm, then we ordered food and drink. So there’s only one choice for drink , which is herba tea. They totally not served anything until we remind them where is our drink only they served, around 7:30pm. and wait until 7:45~7:50pm only the food start served.
Hmm overall the food is quite delicious and small portion as we ordered small mostly.
Just that… The soup kuey tiow, have the dish wash detergent smell. We ask the waiter and the waiter is so busy so he answer its Memang like this.
But why we feels weird, and got Color bubbles. I think during rushing hour, this restaurant is dropping their quality by rushing it, and also the service also quite bad.
The herba tea tasted like China tea mix abit of herba. We can’t taste herba tea but we tasted China tea mix with sugar… this part I feel abit cheated hmm.
Overall, I feel their food is really not bad one but just the details that’s spoilt the overall. I think We only can try again during off season. Definitely not a good choice to try here when there’s big crowd or on holiday! My brother stomach ache after finish the meal. Haih…
Good thing is, Macam no covid now 🤣 cuti cuti...

Ordered Pipa Duck, mix braised pork, fried tau gua and egg. 1 soup kuay teow and 1 dry.
Main highlight, the Pipa Duck. The skin is very crispy, you can tell just by picking up a piece of duck with chopsticks. Into your mouth is some sweetness from the gravy and the juiciness of the duck itself, together with the crispy skin, its a very nice combo of flavours and taste.
Fried tau gua is also crispy, paired with the chilli sauce, its great. Eggs are normal.
Both soup and dry kuay teow are both tangy and nice texture. One thing i find that the soup that comes with the dry kuay teow taste nicer than the soup kuay teow. Herbal tasting soup, the soup kuay teow tasted less herbal and abit more to the bland side.
Either way, both are good.
The mixed braised pork isnt to my liking, most of the parts seems to have been braised for too long, over cooked. I might be wrong but just doesnt have the taste and texture un my opinion.
Overall, the whole meal was good, if not for the Pipa Duck, the whole dining experience would have been...
Read moreMelaka was so crowded due to M’sia Holiday! Stuck in the traffic for an hour! A few shops were closed and I ended here. The shop has air-conditioning area and non-air conditioning. Opted non-air conditioning. The Kway Teow soup is normal, not as silky as I’ve expected. The soup is light although it was in dark coloured. The braised mixed pig parts is acceptable, quantity is pathetic. The braised duck is good! Well braised. Kampong fish is good too. Dipped with their homemade sauce. Bean sprouts is normal. MYR 42 for the spread? Definitely way above average.
