Second Update on 25/02/24 Since my last visit sometime back, I notice a great significant of changes took place. This restaurant no longer serves dinner or lunch, instead it now serves noodles and coffee just like any hawkers you find in the city. Plain old coffee shop style least to say gone are my favorite dish Assam fish. Sorry to say this, after having seated for a good 15 minutes and nobody came to take our orders .... that's it. I just walked out of this place and guessed what, I think I will never going to return here again. Period. First updated 03/03/2023 After such a long spell due to COVID and MCO, with the authority relaxing travel restriction and movements are a little relax, this have allowed me to find my way back to this fantastic restaurant. As usual I ordered my favourite dish the Assam curry tilapia fish and a plate of sweet potato leaves though it's almost closing time. Walla, my ever favourite dish finally arrived, tasting marvellously delicious like before though it's been a few years now. No regrets coming all the way here, compared to the last time I ate here is the pricing. Cost a little more but I am not complaining. Previously. This is possibly the only restaurant that I would go for my meals when taking trips up Genting. I think you already knew the reason, even if I choose not to tell. Well to kick start with my review, the place is clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful, the cooking is marvellously tasty to my liking and of course the final part the prices are fairly priced and they don't cut your throat. I enjoyed the food here simply because after each meal you don't tend to get tasty and drink lots of water, you get what I meant.... plenty of those Aji no moto stuff being added. I have been eating here for years and I have not got bored whether it's crowded or hardly any crowd the taste remains the same without great difference. Don't ask me how, ask them, just try out the same dishes a few times; each time take note of the taste and make your own judgment. They are genuine restaurant operators not those here today and gone tomorrow, no I m not getting any discounts for praising them, I am doing this on my own free will absolutely FOC. Good things are to be shared. Give me a Like if you find this article helpful.

Thursday 11 Jan 2024 dinner - yummy food. Recommended 1. tilapia sweet and sour fried fish 2. tit pan g yuk (teppan/sizzling pork) 3. Sweet potato leaf vege with fu yue (not kids friendly as have slight chilli) 4. Kung pou lai liew har fatt put (mantis prawn fried yam basket) 5. Hokkien mee Good thing all dishes not too salty. So can eat without rice. Boss named Candy. Hokkien mee need to be fried by Ah Liang Payment method: accepts cash and credit card. Other payment methods unsure.

Food is not exactly great. But u got to wonder why its one of the few restaurants which is more crowded during non-peak seasons, while some other struggles for custommers. Food are common chinese offerings, problem with it might not be due to taste, but due to the freshness of their ingredients, meat, pork, lala, that we ordered came in lacking freshness, feels like kept in frozen for ages. I might not revisit again... given the many other choices to try

A great addition to traditional breakfast here which starts at 8am-11.30pm. Every food is cooked with great care to maintain the traditional rich taste! Lunch starts at 11.30am.

I love the home made sweet sauce chee cheong fan, curry chee cheong fan, porridge, fried Siam mee hoon, butter kaya toast, freshly baked tarts, hot rich barli drink.

I have yet to try the pork belly noodle soup, rojak, nasi lemak with rendang chicken, and half boiled eggs!

Local kopi and milk tea are superb and available during throughour the day time!...
