Charkata Barbecue exceeded my expectations on every front, making it a memorable dining experience. The highlight here is undeniably the fantastic food. The barbecue selections were not only delicious but also showcased a high standard of quality and freshness. The variety of flavors and perfectly grilled meats left our taste buds dancing with delight. It's a true haven for barbecue enthusiasts.

Equally noteworthy is the staff's kid-friendly approach. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed a genuine warmth and consideration toward our family, making the atmosphere exceptionally welcoming for our little ones. Their patience and attentiveness ensured that our kids felt comfortable and enjoyed their meal just as much as we did. It's refreshing to find a place where the staff goes the extra mile to make families feel at home.

Location is like inside the indoor theme park this is situated exactly above the kids boom boom dashing car.It was a beautiful decorated resturant. However, the food was a major letdown. Even a simple dish like paneer tikka masala was poorly executed - with so many fantastic recipes available on YouTube, it's puzzling they couldn't replicate those. The fried rice was also subpar. Given Genting's location and the lack of good Indian restaurants in first-world malls, they had a great opportunity to cater to the Indian crowd. If they focused on food quality, they could attract plenty of Indian patrons. The mango lassi was unpleasantly sour, and the Madras coffee was a disaster - it's such a straightforward coffee to make, yet they royally messed it up. A Must-Visit Indian Restaurant in Genting Highlands

This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Genting Highlands and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavours. The interiors are beautifully done with a warm and inviting vibe that makes the whole dining experience even better.

The menu is extensive and impressive – they serve North Indian, Indian-Chinese, and a wide range of dishes that truly cover everything you would expect from a top Indian restaurant. The quality of food, presentation, and taste are outstanding.

During my three-night stay, I ended up visiting this restaurant four times, which says a lot. I did try another Indian restaurant just for comparison, and it didn’t come close in terms of taste, ambience, or service. This one clearly stands out as the best option in Genting Highlands.
