Pepper Lunch @ Sky Avenue — Restaurant in Pahang

Remind me never to order steak at pepper lunch. No matter how quickly I "rescued" the beef, it is cooked thru n thru. For someone who have my steak medium rare, I told the cashier to instruct the kitchen not to cook them, I'll cook them instead. But the steak still came half cooked. This is also because the hotplate is extremely hot.

However, this is also the toughest cooked sirloin I've ever had. It is impossible to chew at all. U either swallow them as is, or u simply had to spit them out. What kinda beef could this be 🤔 I ended up having to look for toothpick to pick out the meat stucked all over my front teeth and molar. Sian sia.

I never waste food. I always clean up my plate. This is the 1st time i leave more than half of my food to waste. What a waste of money too. Beansprouts n corn are too salty to eat on their own. Green tea looks more like brown tea 😂

I enjoyed the experience, it's like a fast food restaurant-esk type of environment but mainly focuses on rice with a mix of teppanyaki.

The cashier was very nice by giving us recommendations and suggested us this meal, thank you to them. I enjoyed the meal. So as the person who saw me looking at the menu interested before I ate it for Lunch, they told me info about how the menu works and which meals came with rice and etc.

Meal price is alright, might be a bit pricey to some but it makes sense because it's in Genting. For portion size is quite a lot so I guess it's worth it. The food came in quite fast after ordering it so it's the type to quickly prepare things for you. Definitely come here if you want quick food to be prepared.

BTW, if you order something similar I did, make sure to mix it together as the pan is still hot. You're supposed to do that to cook the rice and the ingredients together to have that fragrance. Kind of a fun...

There were not many people despite being a Saturday afternoon so the waiting time for our food to arrive was not too bad. We ordered one Beef Pepper Rice (RM26.90) and one Cheesy Omelette with Beef (RM38.90), it also comes with a choice of curry or creamy brown sauce for the cheesy omelette dishes. We also made one of our orders a set by topping up a few ringgit and it comes with a drink along with a side of your choice. It was a little challenging to call a waiter but it was not a huge concern for us. However, I was surprised to see the meat portion of the Beef Pepper Rice since I felt it was too little for the price. As for the taste of our meals, they were delicious.
