Rockafellers Genting — Restaurant in Pahang

To Rockefeller’s management I have been coming to your genting outlet each time of my visit to Genting highland . Today I’m really disappointed with the customer service as no one come over to greet their customer or to guide me and my family to the seats. They behaved as though we were not exist at all and they have been walking in and out but not one waiter came to guide us to the seats. There were one Singh fellow who have been looking at us and ignored us whenever we looked at him and when we questioned him , the only answer he could gave us was that he thought we are looking for a place whereas the last when we visit there were one kerala chap who guided us at the entry itself. How could a waiter answer us like that when it was his duty to make sure his customer sits at their comfortable place and food order was taken appropriately. Same time we had our two year old son with us to. I have been to Penang outlet before but never experienced such an odd attitude. I will make sure that will not visit your outlet here anymore and will let the other of my friends who often visit to your place to not to visit. FYI even yesterday I went to bangsar rock bottom and happily spend 700 plus due to their customer service and today you have lost business worst 500 plus due to your one useless staff attitude… you may verify our entry thru your CCTV time around 2.30 -2.45 pm (21/5/2023…to retain your brand you must get rid with this kind of piece of idiot (he have been wearing black turban) when I questioned him about his attitude he never even apologised and convinced us to stay and I rather happily spend at NICSMANN which much better...

Came here becos of the gd review. The ambience & atmosphere was good. Live band also perform well, ranging from English/Chinese/Hokkien/Cantonese songs. Can c from the band members that they do practice n know their songs well. Didn't notice any playing out of tune.

Ordered 4 drinks - Pina colada, Honolulu, Paulner WeissBier, Illusions, n 1 appetizers - Chicken samosa. The cocktails were concocted well. Not overloaded with alcohol, more on the sweeter side, gd for ladies. Beer is normal. Portion of cocktails r just nice, not too small glass, good to go with appetizers.

Main reasons y we gave a 5-stars review here is becos of the great service received. We were greeted n served, the server (didnt get the name) knows the menu well, was able to provide good suggestions when asked for recommendations. Smiles were everywhere, assistance was available, serving of drinks + food r prompt. The price is more on the higher range but the service is great so we r gd w it.

Overall, we felt very welcomed and good here. A must visit place for chill-out n gd music when we visit Genting...

We came to this bar mainly because of the music and vibes. We confidently moved over from another bar and bought a whole bottle. We loved the first set from the band and the DJ. Both talented and entertaining. (Note – the first set was all English songs).

However, we were extremely disappointed at the number of Chinese songs that were played by both the band and the DJ for the remaining 3 sets. I understand appealing to the target audience/ the majority of the customers but to call yourself Rockerfellers and have painting of AC/DC and Queen etc on your wall and not stick to it. Sellouts!! At least have a mix of the two and a balance of Chinese songs and English songs / songs that stick to your brand. The band only went back to English songs at the last 4-5 songs of their fourth and last set.

My family are frequent comers to Genting, and we thought we found a new go-to bar. But if we were to return, we probably wouldn’t stay for more than the first set and wouldn’t spend money on a whole bottle again.
