Starbucks Reserve SkyAvenue — Restaurant in Pahang

My sister and I was the first one to come in for the day. It was early morning and it is the first time for us to be in a Starbucks Reserve. Barista Naziera greeted us at the table since we looked unsure on how to order the reserve and she explained everything nicely. She was so friendly, bubbly and accommodating that she and Azizi, our reserve barista seems to be the first caffeine fix for me that day.

The second would be Barista Azizi who made us our Hawai'i Ka'u pour-over coffee. He gave us insights on the reserve coffee and the best thing Naziera and him brewed Aged Sumatera beans with Chemex and with it they walked us through the four steps of enjoying coffee like smell, slurp, locate and describe.

Azizi enlightened us on how to find the taste notes of coffee, something that I couldn't have learnt by reading. He also explained to us the difference of a few beans. Plus we get a few small dark chocolates to taste with our coffee.

I ended up purchasing a reserve tumbler and Panama Boquete beans. We are quite sorry for taking some of their time for selfies when the store is starting have more early customers, which they have to refuse but we could not thank them both enough for giving us a delightful experience on our first time there. As you guys know Starbucks could be quite scary when your are unfamiliar with the system but hey, for coffee,...

Very surprised that my Cafe Latte Iced costs more by 3RM than its original price because the sugar syrup is chargeable??

Other than that staffs are very enthusiastic and will holler Welcome when customers enter. The window sill seats are quite comfortable and less claustrophobic than the inside seats.

Didn't like the customer culture where the tables are super messy when they leave and staffs are not able to manage the clean ups in time perhaps due to shortage...

(3/3/2019 1.30pm)Poor services! I’m waiting at front counter for 7min, the 2 Fxxking staff just ignored me and keep on doing his own stuff no intention to talk to me. When someone jump queue and stand beside me, the fxxking staff serve her immediately. Ridiculous price and poor services!!!! Nvm, Just forget about it. I won’t go back anymore. I found another coffee shop at ground floor call DÔME! A warm and cosy place with great staff and good service. There do table service. Jus go to DôME....
