+90 Specialty (Plus Ninety Specialty) — Restaurant in Perak

Is the worst cafe in town! I am not surprise if is open by a non-local or probably someone from oversea who dunno much about local nice community culture! What kind of stupid cafe who doesn’t have cappuccino.?! Name speciality coffee, then ask if there’s any hand drip? Also don’t have! Then I ask for a small cup of hot milk, also cannot and don’t have - even I wanna pay. Basically they very firm/stern/straight where if anything not in the menu, then is not doable! The staff mainly told me becoz the boss doesn’t allow. Sound like a fool boss to me that isn’t local. I can see from the staffs face that they also very helpless and make no sense to them. I feel sorry for them/whoever work there. Look like a very bad place/management to work with. Tbh, when the first time I came to this place last year, I doubt this place will last. To my surprise it’s still here after 1 year! Also can see and tell that this cafe exists not becoz of profit! More of a hobby cafe/biz, and def a very nice atmosphere… Not to mention, the price...

This was the 3rd time i went to the cafe, i like the coffee, affordable price for a class of specialty but here are my 2 cents:

1. Barista needs some extra hospitality, i don’t say that they are rude or didn’t smile but as a barista myself i think for a good atmosphere you have your cafe could be more exciting with ‘fun personal touch’ because there are many coffee enjoyers out there went from casual to have ‘upgraded’ their way of enjoying coffee from commercial to specialty grades currently.

2. Please provide filter coffee, personally i love pourover very much and also more coffee bean choices.

Overall i’d say your cafe have a good presentation as a specialty...

I can't rate food because I only had coffee on the go. But I would like to comment on the lack of courtesy from the staff behind the counter.

Why is it I am the one saying thank you a number of times as a customer while the staff never utter a single thanks from the time I arrived, to placing my order, to paying for my drinks and collecting my drinks?

Not even a simple "thanks"?

It is however not an isolated case as I have seen youngsters in service industry having a tough time being courteous.

Perhaps it is time to train them and instill a more positive and upbeat culture in your cafe.
