Yut Sun Restaurant — Restaurant in Perak

Very lousy ordering and food serving services. Boss got very upset and moody easily when come to serving food and "punished" customer by serving other customers that came later. So chaotic, food servers are so lost. They couldn't make up which food should go to which table and even worst they don't even know which customer to serve first. This happened repeatedly every visit. So disappointed that they still cannot improve their food serving process after so many years! Food also so so now and obviously shrinking in portion....perhaps due to rising cost. Another disappointing act is when come to payment, no price labelling on food menu (only drinks has price displayed on the wall) so the same boss will use calculator to sum up the figures based on his own interpretation on food served. Can you imagine how accurate he can be by looking at empty plates and glasses?Caught him charged me for drinks that we did not order which is more pricey! No bills! Worst, he refused to look at our food list when we told him we took down the our own orders and verified which were actually served! Customers are paying for unverified bill! In summary, very disappointing. Even the ceased operation "Boom Mee" elderly team can do so much better food ordering and serving than Yut Sun (day time shop)...sigh. These elderly uncles showed so much honestly, fairness and integrity, serving each customer with respect. Decided to ban Yut Sun (day time outlet). Perhaps the brother's shop (same shop name but operates at night only at the other corner of opposite row) is more organised and orderly. Maybe someone can share more about the brother's night...

Environment: Located at Taiping’s town, very old skool. The kopitiam itself is still preserved with the old skool vibe.

Food: The chicken chop is soft, uses fresh chicken, with green beans and 1 tomato. The potato is also fresh and not instant potato wedges.

Mee hailam, tastes like normal mi hailam.

Drinks: The coffee they used 3in1 mix

Total price: RM20+

I’d say it’s more of a feel good feeling of eating home cooked food. Not the fancy food, the taste is there it cannot go wrong. But it’s not the best.

We were sitting and nobody wants to clean the mess then we called a guy to clean up. He throws tantrum at us and splash the dirty dish sauce on us ! He also did not said sorry to us, just asked us go to the sink outside to wash. He continue to splash dirty sauce to my mom. That is the worst waiter I ever seen. I regretted coming here. We will definitely not come back here again. Then we went next block, Hong Feng Kopitiam, the service and the food are damn good! Try them out, you will feel a big different. If you have experience the same, just walk over to Hong Feng Kopitiam which is next the popular fried banana store. Their food and service...
