gopeng yong tau foo is good. curry is of the mild persuasion, and consumable as soup. curry mee is good in the same sense. sensibility here is gentle, with just enough lemak to cut the acid.

lai fun is the tubular sibling of hor fun, and is significantly more muscular. it's far less absorbent, and much more filling. not the best choice noodle-wise for the curry, especially if the objective is for a light meal.

giant curry puff is a work of genius. chicken is ipoh-standard mild, and is as much kunyit as curry. pastry is where these guys stand out. flaky, yet with the structural strength to butress it's oversized payload.

wan tan mee is also excellent. char siew is melt-in-mouth tender, yet not jelak taste-wise. duck is tasty and toothsome, and has clearly never sat on ice.

kaisi horfun is ok, but falls short. due to the prawns, which have clearly known too much ice. HF and chicken right the ship, and bring it home. ...

Service- I give 3 star because for drinks you have to self serve ,pay at the cafe counter and carry your drinks back to the table.. I order hot coffee ,very good nice taste ooom coffee.cashless payment, can also use Touch n Go even to pay 80 sen for hot Chinese tea. There are quite a number of food to choose- from street food and western food. I saw a senior couple from France (tourist) dinking ice cool beer there. The price here is slightly higher than kopitiam street food at Ali Pitchay /Yang Kalsom junction-but still okay for convenience -free private parking and next to 2ecoshop. There are Kueh stall and tung suay stall like pumpkin soup,.red bean soup etc.however my mom said the red bean soup quite sweet. The area is quite large, plenty of table and chairs.quite cooling with...

Server of the Bean Sprout Chicken stall is really rude and has no respect for their customers.

Wanted to do take away a few packets, was told to wait at the side though I was first in queue. Stood aside while he attended to few dine in customers. When asked again about take away order, he ignored and then later to say the stall no longer do takeaway. Observing how he handled his dine in customers, he was just as rude. An old lady was told off rudely when she only wanted to confirm if they have gotten her order right. Sad to see that as I would hope old folks (including mine in ipoh) to not be...
