Konda Kondi Cafe is a charming spot offering a variety of dishes to suit different tastes. My recent visit had a mix of good and just alright experiences, but overall, it was pleasant.
Nasi Lemak Pandan The Nasi Lemak Pandan was decent. The rice had a nice pandan aroma and was well-cooked. The sambal had a strong belacan flavour, which might be too much for some, but it added a rich taste. The fried chicken was the highlight, juicy and crispy, adding a great texture to the dish.
Chicken Chop The Chicken Chop was very good. The outside was crunchy and crispy, while the inside was tender and juicy. The combination of textures made it a very enjoyable dish.
Spicy Creamy Spaghetti The Spicy Creamy Spaghetti came in a generous portion. The pasta was cooked just right, with a nice firm texture. The sauce was very creamy and had a good level of spice, making it tasty and satisfying.
Butter Chicken The Butter Chicken was a complete meal. It came with rice, tortilla chips, vegetables, buttermilk chicken and soup. The buttermilk chicken was tender and full of flavour and the rice was a perfect match. The tortilla chips added a nice crunch.
Konda Kondi Cafe does a good job of offering dishes that cater to different tastes. The best parts for me was the well-balanced Spicy Creamy Spaghetti. The cafe’s cosy atmosphere and friendly service make it a pleasant place to visit. If you’re looking for a hearty meal or a quick bite, Konda Kondi Cafe is...
Read moreCame here for a small reunion with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. Ordered: nachos, spaghetti carbonara and grilled chicken chop with black pepper sauce, warm water and hot peach tea.
The hot peach tea is my favourite now. If you like sour drinks like iced lemon tea, lemon tea, you'd like this. Nachos was excellent! Spicy level 2. Cheese was perfect appropriate amount, none of this leleh-BS. Chicken chop was okay-okay. It has sausages. Spaghetti carbonara, make you a bit full so if you're having this, refrain from side ordering anything else bc you will have to tapau some.
The nachos are so good, so please order them when you decide to pay a visit here! I was sad to see the balcony dine area is abandoned, it had a lot of potentials but its barren with dried mop and broken chair. I figured it must be difficult to manage the area since its a bit too far from sight of the staffs.
Overall, Konda Kondi had been a tantalizing experience. I knew and dined in Konda Kondi back 2013 and when I return, I always come here and visit. Everytime, they just grew and grew. From 1 floor, to buskers performance, to rolled icecream on the side walk, to 2 floors now with a bundle store upstairs.
Don't forget hot peach tea!...
Read moreMy experience is rather baaaaaaad. First they bring me the drinks that we order wrong.
The warm water tasted bad, probably the water container haven't been cleaned properly/the batch of ikea glass that we received wasn't clean enough.
We ordered vs delivered:
Drinks- Ice peach tea Apple juice Warm water Ice Honey Lemon (don’t receive but mineral water were delivered)
Food- Grilled Chicken Chop Meatball & Curly fries Vege Aglio Olio Beef Burger (After near 2 hours, i gave up. Cancel the order and pay ahead)
Service- Haaaa this is rather interesting, I’m patient type usually, waited 1/2 hour before asking my status of burger. Then, they deliver chicken chop again? (Which i rejected, i want my burger still) The next 15 mins, i asked again, about my status of order? They replied, “Tengah buat” I waited another 1/2 hour, went straight to kitchen asked where is my order. Again, the replied, “Kak tengah buat” My last straw, another 15 mins, I when straight to counter and pay.
I dah nak balik baru nak ckp, sebenarnya dah siap. Dalam hati (Aku dah nak balik baru nak hantar? tooo late.)
Cutlery (self service but we were charged SST 6%?) its fine
My first and last...
