The patisserie is divided into two shops. The first one has its cakes on display while the second offers more space to relax. As the first one was fully occupied, we had to go to the shop without the cake display. surprisingly they didn’t have a menu for the cakes (it was just written down on paper which you had to get at the bar) and orders had to be placed at the bar counter. At least they had an ipad with pictures of their various dishes to let the customer choose from.

We had pasta, toast with egg butter and cake+tea (I can’t remember the names of the dishes). I went there because I wanted to try out their matcha cake, but apparently it was sold out like many of the other popular cakes. I ordered chiffon cake with orange flavor. it was okay but I felt like it wasn’t fresh but just heated right before it was served + it was really plain looking - therefore a somewhat disappointing experience as the cake seemed overpriced to me. personally I cant recommend the toast with egg butter. it had a funny smell to it or maybe i just wasn’t used to the butter they used for it. green pasta with basilica oil was alright and eatable but really nothing special :)

ambience was nice. it’s definitely a nice place to hang out at. I definitely can recommend the tea as it was rich in flavor and they even offered...

I recently pre-ordered a birthday cake from this cafe, and was told to collect the cake from Mille by Patisserie boutique (in ipoh garden). chocolate rum & raisin cake was ok, quite dry , I expected better.

but what I was really upset about was the whole cake collecting experience when I reached the place at 4.55pm (because of heavy rain and traffic) and the house looked like nobody is there, nobody came out ?? called multiple times and nobody responded. the call even got cut off multiple times. luckily the cafe called me saying the place is going to close at 5pm, and that I haven't collected my cake. but actually I was already outside the house but nobody care to pick up the call or come out from the house. I even texted early in the morning to ask if I could collect at 12pm, no reply either. If cannot just reply cannot. at least a reply ???

I wonder if I got the correct number from google but the profile picture clearly stated "patisserie boutique"

please upgrade your service ?? and this Mille by Patisserie boutique, please respond to phone calls. be more alert. and maybe update your phone number on google if you changed hv your number, giving you the...

Patisserie Boutique in Ipoh is a trendy café known for its French-style pastries, artisanal coffee, and a chic, minimalist ambiance. Located in the heart of Ipoh’s old town, it has become a favorite among both locals and tourists.

Customers rave about their range of delicately crafted pastries, with standouts being the lemon tart and macarons. The café also offers a solid brunch menu, featuring dishes like croissants, sandwiches, and pasta. Their coffee is smooth and pairs well with the sweet treats.

The interior is modern yet cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for casual meet-ups or solo coffee breaks. It’s also popular for Instagram-worthy photos due to its sleek décor.

The only downside is that the space can be crowded, especially on weekends, so seating might be limited. Despite this, most patrons find the experience worth the wait. This shop do not take order for custom made cake.

Patisserie Boutique is a must-visit if you're in Ipoh and love quality pastries and coffee.

Finally, i must say that the toilet is very clean. Well decorated and suitable...

Was allocated to table one, which was a cosy corner for my group of 4 pax.. We all ordered pastas, and I would say that a star was deducted from the food only because the pastas were pretty clean tasting not in a bad way, cause it would be perfect for the health conscious people.. By clean, I meant that they were pretty much low on the sodium, and the aromatics could have been stronger.. Unfortunately for us, the mushroom soup served with croissant 🥐 was the highlight for us! Very fragrant, everything about it was chef's kiss! So much that when we had mouthful of pasta after, the pasta was bland in comparison.. But I gotta commend that the chicken karaage was bombass but only served with the rice or pasta.. my suggestion would be for the owners to sell the chicken kaarage as a side dish on its own.. Desserts were good!! Especially love the chestnut cheesecake since not many places sell this.. and everyone should definitely reserve some tummy space to try their signature baileys cheesecake!!

Nothing awesome to shout out for. Not worth the wait, the wait was probably just because their service is slow & bad in general. Asked for a place for 10pax, waiter just said 'we have no tables cater for 10pax'. So we asked if we could split tables. Waiter should be flexible to at least suggested us to split table. Ordered food and it took ages for it to be served. Taste was not bad (not cheap too), but not tasty till it worth the wait seriously. Half way through before food was served, waiter asked us to move to another table and it didn't make sense. Why do you bother to disturb your customers by asking them to move here and there. Oh please... Overall will I come back for the mains? Definitely a big NOOO. Come back for dessert? MAYBE? Dessert was good, suggest to take away than joining in the waiting game. Well it wasn't the best experience. Look for other options - I guess there's plenty around. K THX BYE
