We had a hard time finding lunch. Why are most places closed in Taiping on weekdays?? As we drove by this coffee shop, it was dark inside and the shutter was half down. Luckily my wife spotted a few diners inside and suggested we try anyway. Maybe it's not a habit here to turn on lights during the day even though the inside is a bit dark.

We shared a bowl of seafood rice noodle soup. Really what I'm after is the fishball because I just love them. The bowl of noodle in my photo costs RM12. We weren't really hungry, so the portion was sufficient for two of us. I would say it's better than average, but not especially good that I can't wait to return again...

Seafood porridge was fantastic. RM11 with 2 medium prawn, fish slices, fishball and winter vege. Porridge was wonderfully made. Yummy. Seafood was fresh. 5 star

Although pork noodle was the most popular orders here in the morning. But taste wise so so only. May be the only credit was the mince pork was good. Soup nothing special. 3 star.
