Restoran Hup Kie | Teochew Porridge — Restaurant in Perak

The first thing that caught my attention was how good their reception was. We were not left waiting at the door for more than 5 seconds. Within 5 minutes, we were already comfortably seated. The ordering process went smoothly and were well informed that the amount we ordered would suffice.

Serving speed was really quick despite it being the 2nd day of CNY. The seafood ingredients used in the porridge were not tip top but the porridge tasted fantastic. We ordered tofu prawn and sambal stir fried kacang botol to accompany the porridge. The dishes do not look extravagant but they taste absolutely delicious.

All the staffs are polite and courteous. The owner even asked us how we find the food after we were done eating.
