Restoran Lap Lap Heong — Restaurant in Perak

First time trying out braised soy sauce chicken & a portion of fragrant rice from this shop. Was recommended by a friend to try it as the cook came back after working in hong kong.

Bought it as a additional dish for my family Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner.

I love the taste, but was quite suprise that the rest of the family also like it.

We actually had another dish of chicken cooked with chinese ham & vegetables, but everyone kept taking the braised chicken.

I have tried the Michelin one star chicken rice before, I like this one is way way better. I also like the fragrant rice very much & wish I had bought a few more portions.

The sauce that came with the chicken & chili sauce also coplimented the chicken very well.

Will definitely be back again to Ipoh & hopefully get to try the rest...
