Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Loong — Restaurant in Perak

This Ipoh style Chee Cheong Fun at kopitiam Sun Yuan Loong used to be good but lately it's standard drop tremendously to what i call bad. The stall operator said their boss had changed the soy sauce. To me it is definitely a low interior grade. It is too salty and without aroma. The flat noodle itself used to be very smooth. Now it is so rough on pallet. Apparently, i am not the only customer who complained. A lot more others had complained before me. And yet the owner of this stall turn deaf ears. I bet all these for the reason of cost cutting at the sacrifies of their quality. Definitely a Stupid move! They just simply don't understand it takes years, lots of efforts and hardships in building a trust, a brand, a well known name but it seconds to destroy it. I will avoid eating this Chee Cheong Fun stall and at this kopitiam shop. Don't waste your money. Or if you at are a die hard fan of Chee Cheong Fun like me then go to Tien Chun at Ipoh old town section or go Wooley's food court at Canning Garden Ipoh or go the road side stall at cross junction of Pasir Pinji wet market. The price of a large cup kopi with milk (not White kopi) at Sun Yuan Loong kopitiam will cost you RM3.20 per large cup while others in city center charge only RM 2.40 per large cup. 1. overall - Chinese kopitiam style with plenty of food stalls, serve very good coffee, limited seating capacity, ok cleanliness and service, food selection are toast with butter and kaya, white coffee, egg tart, chee cheong fun, ipoh hor fun, wanton mee, boiled egg and many more from Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Loong
2. prawn mee - sweet prawn broth, flavouful, decent portion, big prawn, recommended
3. kopi - best in town, smooth and silky
4. toast with telur goyang - tasted ok
5. toast with butter and kaya - tasted alright
6. ipoh chicken hor fun - sweet broth, tiny portion but tasted great, one of the best in ipoh

Wondering why their Kopi taste changed drastically. Chat with that ordering aunty, she nod her head and commented they changed the man making Kopi back there. Ordered a hot Kopi but came and tasted like Kopi C. So I returned to counter for a change but was denied. An angry face aunty claimed that the Kopi is correct, it’s with milk.
