Kedai Kopi Chang Jiang — Restaurant in Perak

The Iced Coffee was thick, strong, creamy and sweet…too sweet and too strong actually for me. Coffee lovers should love this I think. Just too sweet for me even with a specific "not too sweet" instruction. I was wondering how sweet it would be had I not specified.

Toast was served with margarine and classic (non-pandan flavoured) coconut jam, it's below average. Toast was not toasted well with very little browning making it too soft and fluffy. I specified "butter kaya" actually and like many shops, butter and margarine meant the same thing here.

Service was fine and cleanliness acceptable.

Worth...

Passed by Ipoh and made a stop to visit this coffee shop again. Disappointed. Coffee did not taste as good as last time. To make matters worse, the kaya kok (priced at RM2.70 per piece) which tastes so bad. Hopefully they made some improvements for future visit.
