EDIT changed 4star to 1 star: returned for dinner again today but upon paying our bill we got quite a shock. The bill today was RM32!! Twice the price from last night and so expensive for nasi kandar! The large man said the two pieces of chicken was RM17!! because it was local....we explained to him it had less meat and the chef just gave it to us. He said no, it was the chef and OUR FAULT! We shouldn't have chose it...and we explained again we don't speak the language and we asked the chef for the same spicy chicken like last night, we didn't choose anything. He then continued to yell at his chef infront of everyone and told us he isn't cheating us of our money. We told him we are willing to pay for the cheaper price chicken and he said no, and told us to leave!! So we left, and will never be back. The rest of the staff are nice but that guy, who is probably the owner, needs to learn what customer service is. Rudest person we met so far in Malaysia. .......... Delicious nasi kandar! I actually liked this restaurant better than the busy nasi ganja restoran. The curry sauce and chicken has more flavor and the food tastes cleaner. The restaurant itself is also cleaner. The staff is very helpful. You also get a piece of potato which I enjoyed. Another huge plus is the restaurant is open late! The teh ais is good. I will be back to try the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat Nasi Kandar. Very friendly and helpful STAFF. The taste is delicious, better than the one in the other end of the building (though that one is great, too, but closes at 5pm).
Edit: second night in-a-row eating here and was disappointed. The brown rice was pleasant, but we were served a different kind of chicken that had less meat and very little flavor. When we went up to pay, they charged us double the night before (for a worse meal). The guy (who I presume was the owner) claimed it was local chicken so it was double the price... Total went from RM15 (the night before) to RM32.
He said it was our fault for choosing that chicken, which we didn't, the cook chose the chicken for us when all we said was "spicy"... As we don't speak the language (I mean, the cook didn't even know what "potato"š„ was).
The guy then yelled at the cook, yelled at us, and told us to get out. We offered to pay the same amount as the night before, but he refused and told us to leave...
It left a very unpleasant taste in our mouth, unfortunately. We were enjoying the place until that ridiculous situation.
Universal rule: the customer is always right, and don't cheat...

Head to the cook at rgefront of the restaurant point to the curry or chicken you want. Hell serve that onto a plate and put it up on the counter then ask for rice and cucumber salad and just point and he'll spoon it out. Take that to a table.
