isn't this the same location where a security guard was killed for telling someone that the pool wasn't open on that day? Why yes...Yes it is.
Part 1 An incident happened on 29/12/2020(Tuesday) at Menara Majestic Condo Ipoh, my uncle who is a Security Guard clocked in for work at 9am...earlier there was another Security Guard was on duty at 7th floor(Swimming Pool Area), so there was a guy who stayed there as homestay guest with his family, came to the swimming pool area with his son...the security guard told him that the Adult Swimming Pool was open but the Child Swimming Pool is not open due to the SOP and government implementation of the CMCO, even by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and MKN due to higher number of cases of Covid -19 pandemic. This homestay guest didn’t want to follow the instructions and let his son to play at the child’s swimming pool. Immediately the security guard went to the management office of the Menara Majestic Condo and reported about it, subsequently the Manager came to deal with the homestay guest, he refused even after and let his son to play at the child’s swimming pool for more than 45mins. At that time the Manager and other security guards were downstairs, my uncle was at his position doing his duty and checking the visitor’s record, as after sometime the homestay guest came with his son and started arguing with my uncle and provoking him. My uncle explained to him the danger if he didn’t follow the rules...after sometime the homestay guest pushed the security guard’s(my uncle) table and with the intention to use that as a weapon to hit him...he has been hit twice with the table and the homestay guest forcefully pushed him to the ground.
There is 3 parts of this that the victims niece posted on facebook! Management is...
Read moreSo disappointed. We booked this place based on the amazing reviews but it's unfortunate that they had to ruin it by having ridiculously strict rules regarding the swimming attires. My son wore a swimming shorts (specially made for swimming) and they refused his entry to the pool because they said it was beach shorts and no cotton's allowed. We explained the shorts were polyester not cotton but they refused to listen. We travelled all around the world and never had this problem so it was a complete shock to us. My son, husband and nephew could not swim during the whole week stay because they only had swimming shorts (non lycra). But then we witnessed other guests without proper swimming attires allowed simply because they were wearing lycra. My son was in tears and I had to go out to purchase a lycra shorts so he can swim. Ridiculous! My children also witnessed the security punching a old harmless man outside the building while they were at our balcony. Whatever the fuss was about it's so wrong to throw a fist at someone who appeared to be harmless. My children was upset to see such violence and said just because he is security it does not give him the right to hit people. This place is wrong. I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreHorrible Horrible Horrible... won't be coming here ever again. It seems like the security team are the one managing the building with stupid strict rules.
While we were there, there was one little boy who was almost drown but their eyes were not even watching because they were busy with swimming attire rules instead. Double standard too.. a couple of girls wearing t-shirts are allowed.
Another big problem, world recognised swimming suit AREN'T allowed, but cheapskate "looks-like-matching-swimming-suit" that are NOT SUITABLE for chlorinated water are allowed. They said 5 star hotel would recognise those as swimming suits but not to their management. If you bring kids to the swimming pool, get them to wear matching tight pajamas, they will pass as their definition of laughable swimming suit. By the way, this rule is set for an even dirtier...
