Unassuming kopitiam .
Going into this kopitiam had never crossed my mind. I pitched the idea of having lunch here on Sunday afternoon to the picky daughter and she only agreed because it was air conditioned inside - and luckily she said yes!
The kopitiam is still using order chit to order food & beverages, but the service from the crews were prompt. It might not look much from the outside while the interior was basic with tables and chairs.
◾Fried porridge - one of the star dishes of this kopitiam. Having tried the famous fried porridge in Klang but didn't want to travel that far just to satisfy the craving, this place offers good alternative without having to queue. The porridge had the essential flavours at the right saltiness level; and filled with ingredients such as peanuts + crispy yau char okay for that crunchy texture; as well as decent siew yuk & shredded chicken to complete the whole package. ◾Ginger Clam Mee Hoon Soup - I thought that it was reasonably tasty but she commented that it'd be better if more Chinese wine is added. ◾Hainan teh was the only drink I ordered - more teh with a touch of kopi worked wonders on the flavour. I had it hot & cold (I went twice).
Not as popular as the Yitcha KawKaw nearby but they were still doing...

The service was impeccable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive care. The boss was knowledgeable about the menu, quick to offer recommendations, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were always on hand to refill drinks and check in on us, but never in an intrusive manner.
Now, onto the food – simply superb. Each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors and expertly crafted. The presentation was beautiful, showing great attention to detail. Every bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs in the kitchen.
Overall, Empat Sekawan always exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service and delicious food makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable lunch. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!especially for...

Comfortable & clean environment. 2-servers on the floor, so do expect to wait when it's crowded.
Pricing wise reasonable.
Ordered Curry Noodle, Curry CCF with Pork Skin and Honey Lemon. Honey lemon was a disappointment as it tasted like plain water with a tiny drop of lemon juice. Curry Noodle's portion was really huge and enough to share for 2-pax. Topped with lots of ingredients from chicken, roasted pork, fried pork balls, foo chuk & lala. However, it wasn't to my liking as it tasted more like assam, not much of curry taste and no santan. Curry CCF wasn't what I was expecting. It's like curry keow teow.
Maybe their specialty is with other dishes like the Ginger Lala Meehoon which...
