Heyday Cafe — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Being in this area quite often, I'd notice new places opening and this bright yellow cafe was one of them. After sending the young ones to class nearby, I'd look for a nice spot to sit down and relax for an hour or two.

Heyday Cafe offers some interesting dishes ie. Non-cliche that some might appreciate. The tables are spaced nicely without giving the feeling of being cramped.

◾Spicy Chili Mussels - Made with fresh mussels, bold chili sauce, and fragrant herbs, this mouthwatering recipe is the result of years of perfecting the balance of flavors by their owner. ◾K-Town Crispy Chicken Don - marinated chicken popcorn, onsen egg, specialty sauce, garden salad and white rice would satisfy any K-pop loving kids. ◾Dirty Latte - unusual but good combination of matcha and espresso. ◾Kombucha.

A good spot to enjoy coffee or a meal with friends and family. For a cafe, the dishes are reasonably priced so that one will not feel too painful...

A beautiful little cafe that I didnt even know existed in my neighbourhood! Their specialty coffees are brilliant sounding and I cant wait to eventually try all of them. The coffee is not the only thing thats good here, their food is great and reasonably priced.

We tried: Grilled Chicken pesto sandwich: 5⭐️ - the chicken was juicy! Mushroom toast: 5⭐️ - simple and tasty Tuna toast: 5⭐️ - nothing to report

Alaska cool: a good strong coffee, when I ask for a double shot, this is exactly the coffee I'm expecting to get. The milk is not exactly as sweet as you think, but thats ok! Beach Sunrise Refresh: delicious and I love the salted coconut flakes on the rim of the glass. Gives it texture which is not what I'm expecting...

Ordered their Grilled Chicken Croffle and Fish & Chips. I wasn’t very impressed, but it was okay la, as the food is fresh. The portion looks small but is surprisingly quite filling.

Their noteworthy signatures are definitely their drinks. Their hot Salted Mocha was smooth and chocolatey, while their Einspanner Coffee was a perfect blend of dark coffee bomb.

But what really got me to give their food a 5-star rating was their brownie. Wow, it really took me by surprise as I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The fudge texture was perfect, with sprinkles of crunchy bits and the warm chocolatey melt that goes perfectly well with their ice-cold gelato! 🍨 Really good 💕...
