Overview: The Amelia Guest House is a charming, family-run guest house nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, offering a warm, cozy ambiance perfect for a weekend retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and excellent hospitality, which set the tone for our entire stay.

Rooms: Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after our days exploring the town. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the fresh flowers, tea and coffee-making facilities, and complimentary toiletries. The ensuite bathroom was modern, with a strong shower and fluffy towels.

Facilities: The guest house has a lovely garden where you can enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. While there is no on-site restaurant, breakfast is included and was a real highlight—freshly prepared with a variety of local options, including homemade jams and fresh pastries. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property, and it worked reliably during our stay.

Location: Situated on a quiet street, the guest house is just a 10-minute walk from the town center, making it convenient for sightseeing without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Parking was available on-site, which was a huge bonus since we had rented a car.

Value for Money: For the price, The Amelia Guest House offers excellent value. The personalized service and attention to detail made it feel more like a boutique hotel than a standard guest house.

If you are a long time traveler with flexibility of work and schedule, it is nice to relax here. The area is not as chaotic as Kuala Lumpur but still accessible by MRT. Beauiful local area with lots of eateries and shops. There are convenience stores and a supermarket within few minutes.
