We went here for dinner (Kota Damansara branch) this evening. A family of 3 sitting next to us found a PLASTIC in their food. The Father of the family informed the person in charge of this restaurant, an Indian guy who can speak Mandarin regarding the plastic found in their claypot.
The Indian guy loudly told the father that it’s not his fault and the food was prepared by the kitchen outside.
We witnessed the incident and heard the conversation between this man and the Indian staff. The Indian staff was rude and he did not apologise to the man and he just walked away and showed face. This was unacceptable and irresponsible. The Indian staff works for this restaurant. He should have at least apologised immediately and informed the customers that he will take note of this incident and let the management or Chef knows about it.
When the man and his family were making the payment, we were queuing behind them. The man told the Indian staff that he should have at least apologised first. But the Indian staff replied in mandarin with cocky expression “sorry! 够了. Sorry 老板!够了! (in English: “ sorry! that’s enough! Sorry boss! that’s enough!”).
Seriously, is this the right attitude? The Indian staff did not apologise sincerely at all and he still did not think he was wrong. He was clearly wrong for showing face and being impolite and irresponsible an as a staff of this restaurant!
That’s not the end of the story yet. When it was our turn to make payment, this Indian staff was complaining to us regarding the man. This Indian staff complained in mandarin “such a small matter, want to make a big fuss! Already didn’t charge him, what he wants?! Sorry, sorry ?!?!!, enough la!!”
This Indian staff DOES NOT has the right attitude at all. Finding a foreign item i.e. the PLASTIC in the food is not a SMALL MATTER!!! PLASTIC is harmful and is unhygienic!!!!! The Indian staff was wrong and he still complained to other customers regarding the man and his family for eating food found with plastic?!!!
I urge the kitchen and the chef to take note of this matter and to prepare the food carefully and hygienically without any foreign item in the food.
Secondly, I hope the management to please speak to this Indian staff to improve his service and attitude.
We will not come here again if these issues are...
Read moreI ordered a rice dish from this branch (Kota Damansara) through GrabFood, and they sent me a noodle dish. Called them to inform them of the wrong order, a lady staff told me they would call me back. Waited for 20 minutes, never got a call back.
Proceeded to call them again, a male staff asked me what I’d like them to do, so i told them to deliver the rice dish and i’ll return the noodles dish untouched. He said, “You’ll have to pay for the rice dish” and I asked “Why? Your staff made a mistake and i have to pay for their mistake?”
After my reply, he said he would call GrabFood. He called me back about 10 minutes later saying that GrabFood is not going to send it again (Yea duh? It was your staff that made the mistake, not GrabFood) and if i want it i could pick it up myself.
Told them to forget about it, but never will I buy from this branch again. Horrible...
Read moreExcellent taste. I had a curry noodle & the taste is fantastic, it's currently my top place to go for curry noodle. The bowl has fried taukee, fish maw, slices of tender fragrant charsiew & couple of fish balls. Curry broth is liquid enough & taste is excellent.
My friend had wanton noodle with charsiew & the right amount of soy-caramel sauce & oil. Tasted marvellous, the charsiew is so nice, tender & juicy. Toasted bread is a bomb, must have. Crunchy & the kaya/butter spread is delicious.
Had a glass of 3-layered milk tea, really aromatic but a bit sweet. Shop internal is really clean since it just opened about couple of weeks ago. Waiters are foreigners, fast service in ordering with customized handheld devices & POS system. Prices of foods are a trade off, just enjoy the foods. Kota damansara lacks some good...
