Food is as expected, but service was horrendous.

Firstly, we now have to order through scanning a QR code and entering your order. For 1/4 chicken, there was no option to choose top or bottom part of the leg.

When our meal arrived, we got the top part (breast meat) which we didn't like. Politely asked the waiter if we could change to a lower part.

Without blinking, waiter put the blame back on us by asking why didnt we request it with our order. We told him there was no option to choose from the online order and he condescendingly replied that we should have told them verbally. All this was not informed to us before we made the order.

Fine, no big deal. We just asked if they could kindly replace for us. Waiter said he'd check. We were looking at him. Without even checking, he walked one round and came back to our table saying there was no lower part available.

This was a blatant lie coz we could see many pieces of the lower part sitting on the grill (this area is visible to our table). And, the waiter did not actually check.

He then said if we still wanted, had to wait another 40minutes.

We just accepted it grudgingly.

As he walked back, he gave a grin and a subtle wink to some other waiters who was watching, as if to show off how great he was in telling us no.

Very disgusting attitude and service shown. I'm a fan of Nando's but won't ever be coming to this outlet again if this is the level and mentality of their staff. Zero...

We have ordered a few times from Nandos Citta Mall and most of the orders there had always been a mistake. So since then we always took care to double check our orders. This time around we ordered for delivery and although the food order was correct, they only sent 3 packets of sauce for a whole chicken order. I called the store manager and he confirmed that they should have packed at least 6-8 packets (even though i personally feel this is still not enough for a whole chicken). I requested for the remaining sauces to be sent to us. For a brief moment he was hesitant but then quickly and nicely said that he would arrange for a runner to send the remaining sauce. I mentioned about it being a birthday lunch and to please hurry and he assured me he would do so. The 5 stars i am rating is for the quality of service shown by the store manager/supervisor (a cheerful malay man) and the motorbike runner who personally delivered to our home about 12 more packets of sauce. And the icing on the cake was a complimentary slice of cheesecake with Happy Birthday :) written on the box for the person who’s birthday it was. We were pleased the effort had been made to correct an error and to do even more; and all very courteously too. Hope you can remind your team to be careful and pack more sauce in the future. First time trying Nando's and I'm so glad I went to this outlet. The staff were superb with their service from start to finish.

Atmosphere My group was greeted well and let to choose the table. The atmosphere is really great with lots of seating options and suitable for large groups/family.

Service The server for my table, Azrin, was pretty much the highlight for my dinner. He helped us get the promotion that was currently on which saved us a lot. He also treated our group nicely. The other staffs were also very friendly and attentive. The food arrived very quick and the servers were attentive to the plates.

Food The food despite arriving quickly, was still quite nice. It was my first time and I can say it's quite good and might be worth it during promotion. The sides were fantastic too and would definitely recommend getting two sides with the main chicken. You also get free cold/warm water with self service so that's always good. The size of the chicken is normal (I got the 1/4) so not much to complain about.

Overall I'm very happy with my meal. Star of the night goes to the service staff. Would highly recommend this outlet for a good dinner with...
