Yesterday evening I took my family - my sister n my niece - to this place for dinner. I heard of this newly opened pizza place where the pizzas are differently made n baked in a special wood fire oven n the crust is very different from Pizza Hut n Dominoes. So we wanted to try . We were rather early upon arrival as it was supposed to open only punctually at 6 pm. We were 15 minutes earlier. When the staff saw us loitering outside the shop, he was gracious enough to allow us in to enjoy the air- condition as it was pretty humid outside at that hour. We sat at a table n browsed at the menu for the pizzas n the menu for the drinks. We were told to wait until 6 pm before they could take our order. The place was cosy n bright with glass door n glass walls by the side as this is a corner shop. The decor was simple n minimalist. The main counter was by the right side with shelves full of bottled alcoholic drinks. This counter also served as the payment counter. Near this counter were some T-shirts n other Knick knacks for sale plus some empty pizza boxes were neatly stacked up for them to pack pizzas as take away. After that was the tables for diners n on a shelf was placed some logs of wood - the same type of wood used for baking the pizza. At the other side of the shop was a huge dome shaped oven for baking the pizza. Outside the shop were a few round tables n chairs for diners who want to dine outside. We ordered a pork pizza plus a pax of Garden salad. The menu shows a large variety of pork, beef n even vegetarian pizzas n lasagna with various kinds of add on available. You can have it either spicy or non- spicy. Add- on are anchovies, beef n pork sausage n cheese. You have to add extra money for these add- on. There are also cold cuts platter such as 3 kinds of cold cuts plus crackers or 3 kinds of cheese plus crackers. As for drinks, there is a variety of beer n alcohol , soda n juice n mineral water. We found the pizza crust a bit light n airy. The price for it is a bit steep as the whole pizza is only peppered with thinly cut pork. One person can easily polish up the whole pizza n still feel hungry. This costs RM 68! As for the garden salad it is also pricey. It costs RM 28 - the vegetables were not the leafy type of salad vegetable but the thin n long stemmed fern like type which tasted slightly bitterish. My suggestion here is to reduce your prices n improve...
Read moreEdit after the third order recently: As someone else mentioned here somewhere below, why would you offer a “non-spicy” option for pepperoni that is actually spicy? It is not just some pepper, it’s actual chilli heat albeit still on the milder side. Non-spicy should mean just that! I mean it’s delicious, I’ll give you that but c’mon! I’m reducing a star because of this. I hope you guys rectify this, this is not right.
P.S.: the mortadella pizza is perpetually shown as “sold out” on the online menu. What’s up with that man. I wanna try that!

This is a review for two deliveries over the last couple of weeks; it should be 3 and a half stars but can’t do that on Google:-
Two pizzas on the first order and the dough was just a bit too dense and chewy. Margherita wasn’t the best I’ve tasted but it’ll do. Bianca prosciutto would be outstanding for me if it wasn’t for the aforementioned almost tough pie. Like a great Italian sandwich with zingy flavours slightly let down by the bread. The prosciutto di parma used was prolly the best I’ve had. Cheese base was delicious too.
Another two on the second order and this time i tried the pesto base non spicy funghi and bianca bresaola. Pesto base was good enough for me but the mushrooms were overly salted. The white base bresaola, well, i think I’d just stick with the parma ham instead. This is mostly just saltiness with a bit of beef flavour. So in the end i had a somewhat salty experience. The pies’ dough this time was definitely better than the first time round, so consistency is an issue. Also, the pesto mushroom pizza’s base was rather burnt. A bit too much i think. (Sorry don’t have pictures) Personally, between having just a wee bit more of the classic leopard spotting at the edge of the crust vs too much carbon at the bottom, I’d take the former.
Lastly, the evoo on the bianca pizza was thin and flavourless, rather pointless I’d say unless you’re willing to use something better. Oh and the slicing here is a bit idiosyncratically asymmetrical; both times my pizzas were all sliced unevenly and on every pizza there was always one rather extra large slice on the left at the very same spot!
Cheers and am looking forward to my next order.
P.S.: would be nice if you could make a pizza with anchovies. Preferably white...
Read moretl;dr a must try once, but there's more affordable pizzerias that can offer a repeatable experience that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet, with service that doesn't inconsistently matches their high price point.
Docking points at the start for being served a QR code menu because we didn't come all the way to spend this much on pizza to download entire pdf menu on our phone. Where is the physical round menu like other reviewers had before me??
Howbeit, service was great, but recommend coming in even numbers (not favourable to odd number or large groups) due to table configs and very limited seats. Our waiter perfectly explained and recommended pies for our first time, including the spicy options which we tried. They amazingly messed up our drinks order, served a jug of pinapple lime when ordered a Kukicha, but fine.
Quite a variety of nepolitan pizza dishes, with star-studded ingredients listings and each were deliciously enjoyable. Had the Bianca Funghi, Spicy Pepperoni (fav), Margherita with Buffalo Cheese, and Focaccia bread for starters.
Focaccia was amazing really, but personal favourite was the spicy pepperoni, that came with a whole habenero in the middle of the pie. Its separated from the overall taste, but if you choose to taste it together with a slice, prepare yourself for a ride, as the heat kicks your face immediately. Other 2 was not as memorable, but nonetheless satisfying.
Wanted a taste of their award winning coffee too, but was told that it was only sold till 2pm? Guess they can't keep their barista around long enough to be available throughout the day, despite their price point. Coffee lovers best get their fix elsewhere, or follow their barista sleep schedule.
Truthfully, its a unique must-try experience, with the strongest point being their wonderful flavour, but not enough to justify coming back with their inconsistencies on service for that price point, when there's a more affordable Pizza Mansion located just beside it, or myPizzaLab for their...
