RT seems to be popular and offers a nice selection of breads & pastries. Prices are a little higher but in line with most other new-style bakeries. I've tried most of their breads and find that they are ok-only. Prices are a little in the high side, and choices are interesting. The bread may be soft, but it's the ingredients inside and the taste that really counts. Personally, next door kind of taste a little better. So, in today's lifestyle, everyone will say it taste great and so on without knowing what good bread really taste like and that is a fact nowadays.

I hope the Pastry Chef can look into this seriously. The cream horn use to be one of my favourite and it surprise me for the first time when I cut it into half where I don't use to do so then only come to realise that the filling is empty where the red bean and custard is only being pipe in at the beginning and ending of the cream horn where in the middle is totally empty. This mean this dessert pastry is not value for its price.

Reasonable range of bread and buns. Taste is generally good. The Shanghai mooncakes are exceptionally delicious when we got to buy them straight out of the oven and ate one immediately. However, the bread loaves are directly under the air-con and there’s often condensation inside the plastic bags, which can promote mould growth. So I’ve to wipe the plastic bags when I get home. Overall, we’ll still return.

Firstly, I agree with some reviewers comments that the service attitude from the staff is extremely poor. Not 1 staff, but 2 of them who attended to me.

I told the staff that due to condensation, the bread on display were all wet with plenty of visible moisture inside the plastic bags. The bread will then get moldy very fast which I have frequently experienced. Hence, requested for a “dry” loaf which they have it available in their storage. However, they refused to entertain my request, giving lame excuses and hinted to take those “wet” bread instead. To make things worse, I told the cashier they could look into ways to improve their display to avoid condensation, to which, she answered rudely… “OKAY!! OKAY!!”

Well, I have not bought/experienced any “wet bread” from other bakeries. Guess they are too proud and do not bother to improve even with earlier reviews...

The impolite of the senior staff there make me change my mind to order birthday cake from this shop. Initially I thought to order birthday cakes to all my staff in my office,as I'm just report to work nearby,I visit this shop by buying swiss roll to my colleague. When I line up to make payment,the new cashier I guess as she not familiar with the system, so took time to finalize the payment for my front customer. When my turn, I realized my T&G was insufficient so I quickly top up but I caused my behind customer have to wait. Then the senior staff saw this, she just quickly ask the new cashier to cancel my payment & proceed to next customer without say anything to me. I feel the way she did quite rude and no respect to customer. I know your pastry very famous but there is no service quality from your senior staff. No more next time to...
