TK Bakery • Damansara Utama — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Been buying pastries and cakes from this bakery since young as they offer yummy pastries (relatively taste is more or less with their competitors like RT pastry) but still prefer to buy it here as it reminds me of childhood bakery taste.

But I guess there won’t be the any other time after this. Went there to get a birthday cake for my daughter. Asked about some questions on the chocolate banana cake and the staff (a girl dressed in orange colour shirt based at the cashier) sounds very impatient to answer the questions. Then I asked to add some HBD wordings on the cake. She put in on the cake board with quite messy kind of wordings (seems like some of it has been wiped) so I asked is it possible to do it again. She say “No wor, can only like this”. Left me wondering what kind of customer service is this? So I asked her is there any Google reviews done before? She didn’t answer my question and don’t even look at me.

Customer service is one of the main key thing nowadays regardless how fantastic is...

This morning I went to this bakery to buy some bread n pastries for my breakfast. It was about 10.30am. There were already some customers in the bakery. The staff was taking some freshly baked bread , pastries n buns n putting them on the various shelves. I looked around n discovered that the bakery owner has come up with many new n tempting products n foodstuffs unlike before. I have not been to this bakery for quite some time. There were so many different types of crispy sweet n sour snacks n biscuits n cookies which were so hygienically sealed n packed for freshness. They also sell durian tarts n steamed char siew pau too. After looking around ,I finally bought a box of 6 egg tarts n 3 packets of crispy chicken biscuits. I was told that every first day of the month, they have a special promotion. They will give you a discount for egg tarts n for other items. I went back home to tell my neighbours about this bakery. Yesterday I went to this bakery in Damansara Utama to get some savoury n sweet buns for breakfast. As I entered the shop, I saw the staff taking a tray of freshly baked buns from the kitchen. It smelt really good like home made pastries. I looked around the various shelves n finally I decided to choose 3 sweet buns n 3 savoury buns. I also bought 6 of their signature egg tarts too. The staff told me n in fact they encouraged me to join as TK bakery member cos being a member , I would get a discount on the first day of every month. All I have to do is to download the TK app into my phone n then fill up the form n submit it. Due to these benefits, I quickly did accordingly. So the first day of every month ,I am entitled to a discount for my purchases at this bakery.
