Trillion Lalapot: A Hidden Gem Worth Exploring
When I first heard the name Trillion Lalapot, I couldn’t help but wonder, What’s that? What’s so special about it? Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to step in and give it a try.
One of the highlights of dining here is watching the claypot being set ablaze with a big flame. Their staff expertly cooks the Lalapot, starting with fragrant ingredients like ginger, fried garlic, fresh garlic, chili, sesame oil, and a splash of Shaoxing wine (绍兴酒). The moment they pour in the Shaoxing wine, the flames roar higher—ONG r~! It’s a feast for the senses even before you take a bite.
Next, they add the star of the dish—the Lala (clams)—stir-frying them before pouring in the rich, flavorful soup. After letting it simmer for 10-15 minutes, they lift the claypot cover, and voilà, the masterpiece is ready to enjoy.
From the very first taste, I knew I’d made the right decision. The flavor is so comforting that I’ve become a regular customer—just look at all the claypot videos I’ve collected! Whenever I’m craving a hot, satisfying soup, especially on a rainy night, this is the place I go to.
What makes it even better is their late-night service. It’s hard to find a spot that serves hot soup past 10 PM, but Trillion Lalapot stays open late, welcoming me no matter how late I arrive at Surian MRT Station. The warm broth and cozy atmosphere never fail to make me feel at home.
In conclusion, this is an excellent spot for family and friends to gather. My friends always rave about the broth, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Don’t forget to order their Thai milk tea—it’s so authentic you’ll feel like you’re sipping it in Thailand. Once you try it, you’ll never skip it on your future visits.

Read moreThe lala, pork, beef, prawn, egg are fresh. The signature soup is not too spicy, just nice, unlike other lala pot, some are just too spicy. The lala are washed cleaned, usually there are some sand at the bottom of the soup, but theirs have none. The staffs are well trained and observant, attend to request with attention to detail. I like their utensils, they even serves Korean flat chopsticks which help to grab the food easily. They also cover the hot charcoal area so the heat doesn't reach the diners. The restaurant has Aircon with fan, it's not hot and not stuffy. Little things with thoughts makes the dining experience unique and impressive....
