It’s been a long long long time since I had tomyam in KL. Tomyam dekat kedai tomyam yang bukan restaurant atas atas.
Anyway, the portion is big and they have a lot of food options (menu) sorry i did not take the menu image.
We ordered rice, tomyam campur (crab, squif, prawn, lala), omelette (crispy), spicy beef petai, kailan ikan masin, fried battered squid, butter prawnz
All of the food was good, and we ordered way too much for 6 pax. Dont have to order too much food.
The sotong tepung was delicious, daging was the favorite, tomyam is really good, spicy sour. Just nice. And the content of the tomyam is A LOT!!!!
You can also get free keropok keping goreng.
I’d come again but with less portion.
We also prayed at the restaurant, tho they dont have a proper prayer place but they still pray 5x a day! I hope someone would sponsor them and make a proper surau for them to pray.
Anyway, we can at 7pm on Wednesday evening. Not crowded at all and we received the...
Read moreHad the pleasure of dining at Restoran Waneeda Tomyam recently, and wow — this place truly hits the spot for authentic Thai cravings!
I ordered the Tomyam Poktek, and it was absolutely perfect. The santan added just the right creaminess, beautifully balanced by the zing of lemongrass and a medley of fresh herbs and spices. Every spoonful was comforting and flavorful — rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
Next up, the Pad Kra Pao. Let me just say — flavour explosion! Perfectly stir-fried, with just the right amount of heat and that signature Thai basil kick. It's one of the best versions I've had locally. Sure, the price is a little higher compared to regular stalls, but with that generous portion size and top-notch quality, it’s totally worth it.
If you're in Petaling Jaya and craving Thai food that packs a punch, Restoran Waneeda Tomyam is a must-visit. Great vibes, authentic flavors, and dishes that leave you planning your next visit before you've even...
Read moreSorry to say ,but OVERRATED for sure. Came here bcoz people suggest to go here if u want to eat pure thai tomyam . But im dissapointed. At first we ordered tomyam daging but once it arrived ,it was tomyam putih ayam. Didnt even bother to inform us there was no meat available. Plus, its look like its been re-heat not cook upon order. Just a bunch of tomatoes, isi ayam, white tomyam. So i cancelled the order n replace it with tomyam campur that serve with mix seafood. The seafood is just nice but the tomyam once again ,not the pure thai tomyam that ive usually eat. Just plain tomyam seriously. Idk if its due to my lack of taste during my pregnancy but i told u my honest review. There are a bunch of warung that serve way better tomyam taste with a CHEAPER price. But if u want to give it a try, my tips for dinner,go there as early as possible or if not ,u need to wait for the table. I still give it 1 star since my reservation...
