Thumbs Malaysia - Plaza Merdeka — Restaurant in Sarawak

I gotta be honest with yall I don't leave reviews often but this one seriously moved me to write something.

I'll start with the pros cause it's the shortest one; the service is pretty decent and the servers are quite polite, they did their job well as far as I can see.

The cons is that the food is very bland, really not worth the money spent there. The burger with the fries and drink was RM20 and the burger came in cold. The bun was cold like Antarctica and the bun was torn and squished like a toad on the street when it arrived, and the fries was oily and soggy at the same time..

The ayam geprek meal also came in cold like a blizzard in the 1950s, the lettuce and tomato is very sad (spot the single tomato slice), the seaweed on top of the rice smells old and the sauce used was just flavourless..

Overall, would recommend this place to my enemies 100% but if you love your friends and family, tell them to take their money elsewhere.. They need to improve their food standards...

Nice ambience The space is organised and comfortable Once you get a table,write the order on the order sheets and call the waitress. The service is took 5 - 10 minutes Mine is kolo mee with free soup, the kolo mee is overcooked and it's sticky,but the taste is nice though. My friend one is nasi lemak with chicken popcorn, the sambal is a bit salty and the rest is good. Ordered some takeaway for dinner as we were staying in the hotel next door. My husband had the mix and match fried chicken combo set and it was fine. I ordered the geprek chicken burger set. I liked the spicy sauce but felt that the chicken lacked flavor.
