For the main course, I couldn't resist trying the river fish, grilled to perfection and served with a spicy sambal sauce. The fish was incredibly fresh and flaked beautifully, while the sambal added just the right kick. My dining companion ordered the salted egg crab, and it was an absolute highlight. The rich, creamy sauce enveloped the succulent crab meat, making every bite irresistible.

The sides were equally impressive—the fried mantou (Chinese buns) were perfect for soaking up the extra sauce, and the stir-fried vegetables were crisp and flavorful.

To wrap up our meal, we indulged in a refreshing mango pudding. It was the perfect light ending, bursting with tropical flavor.

Visited on 2nd week of April 2022. Usually when u go to seafood restaurant, you can choose your own crab/fish, weighing is done infront of customer so all can see and agree to the price, that is seafood restaurant industry standard. This restaurant just tells you prices based on number of crabs ordered and current price of crabs. Why this is not good? Read on.

For a restaurant like this (the shop even has a crab statue infront!), you'd think they have tens of years experience in selecting their supply of fresh crabs, that doesn't seem to be the case here. I received a crab that was not fresh, it looks like the crab was kept (starved) for a long time and the meat has shrunk (see picture). So the loss is mine because this restaurant sells by number of crabs. If it was sold by weight, I will be paying what it is worth. (crab lovers are able judge the average weight by the size thus can avoid crabs that has shrunken meat). Hence why industry standard is to let customers choose and weigh for all to see.

Food wise, I'd say is normal taste, if u say it's super great, then I humbly suggest to try other restaurants to compare. I ordered fresh milk crab, Thai long beans, bread (3 of their signatures), a vege dish, butter prawn and fish. Dishes are fixed and can't be customed. I wanted Boiled cockles but they insisted only on serving spicy hot cockles. (got cockles but refuse to boil)

Thai long beans was meh. Butter prawns wasn't up to expectation. Fish was good. crab style is ok to try first time but generally other styles taste better. The star of my visit is the bread - really soft and nice. Though, a plate of 5 bite sized is rm5.50.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff who promptly seated us by the water, where we could enjoy the lovely view as the sun began to set. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with family or friends.

Starting our meal, we ordered the signature steamed fish, which was fresh and delicate. It was seasoned just right, allowing the natural flavors of the fish to shine through. The ginger and soy sauce complement added a lovely touch that truly elevated the dish.

Next, we tried their famous chili crab, and it was beyond words! The crabs were cooked to perfection, and the rich, spicy sauce was absolutely addictive. We couldn't resist using the fried buns to soak up every drop of that delicious sauce.

We also ordered a side of fried rice with prawns. It was hearty, flavorful, and made for a perfect accompaniment to our seafood feast. The balance of ingredients made it one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve ever had!

For the grand finale, we shared a dessert of coconut jelly topped with fresh fruits. It was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to end our meal on a sweet note.
