Title: A Festive Feast: Indulging in Beef Wellington and Lobster Bliss
This Xmas holiday season, I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly memorable dining experience. The restaurant, with its clean and cozy environment, provided a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a special occasion.
The clean and well-maintained toilets further emphasized the establishment's attention to detail.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Holiday Set. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection, with the flaky pastry encasing a tender and flavorful beef fillet. The accompanying sides were equally delicious.
The garlic butter lobster was a true showstopper. The succulent lobster meat was infused with the rich aroma of garlic butter, creating a symphony of flavors.
Throughout the dining experience, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent service and insightful recommendations.
For regular patrons, a loyalty membership program is available, rewarding repeat customers with exclusive benefits. Additionally, the restaurant provides reserved parking, ensuring convenient and hassle-free access for diners.
Overall, this dining experience was exceptional. The exquisite food, combined with the impeccable service and inviting ambiance, made it a truly memorable holiday feast. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a refined and enjoyable dining experience. Please ensure to do reservation to avoid disappointment.
Update as of 10/01/2025
I had the opportunity to experience a culinary delight at the branch again. The set menu, which showcased Australian Wagyu and lobster, was truly a memorable dining experience.
The Australian Wagyu Steak, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, was simply divine. It melted in my mouth with incredible flavor and tenderness. The Cheezy Lobster was another highlight – the rich, creamy sauce perfectly complemented the succulent lobster meat. Highly recommend both dishes!"
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Nayli, Aish, Asnavi, Khai, and Syafiq for their exceptional customer service. Their dedication and professionalism were truly remarkable, making my dining experience a memorable one. This level of service is often lacking in many Malaysian-owned restaurants, and their efforts are...

Our dinner at Kay’s Putrajaya last Sunday night (3rd of August 2025), was a reminder of how dining out can feel like both a treat and a discovery. From the first sip to the final bite, everything carried a sense of care and balance.
We began with soups that set the tone beautifully: the Wild Mushroom Soup was earthy and velvety, with just enough richness to feel indulgent, while the Baked Onion Soup delivered deep, caramelised flavours layered under that satisfying blanket of cheese – the kind of starter that makes you pause for a moment of appreciation.
For mains, the kitchen really showed its versatility. The Tenderloin was simply superb – tender, perfectly cooked, and full of clean, confident flavour. The Bold Ribs lived up to their name, with meat that slipped off the bone and a sauce that struck the right balance between smoky and sweet. The NZ Lamb impressed with its delicate seasoning, allowing the natural character of the meat to shine, while the Fish & Chips brought crisp, golden comfort done with surprising finesse.
Drinks were more than just accompaniments; they felt thoughtfully crafted. The Green Apple was refreshing without being overly sweet, the Yuzu Honey Lemonade was a bright, zesty pick-me-up, and the Iced Shaken Peach Tea carried just enough fruitiness to keep it interesting. Even the Iced Plain Water – chilled and served with quiet elegance – somehow fit the whole experience.
Kay’s Putrajaya isn’t just about good food; it’s about harmony. The ambience, attentive service, and well-executed menu made for an evening that felt both polished and welcoming – the kind of place you’re already thinking about returning to before you’ve even left. Through it all, Asnawi and his team were amazingly attentive and pleasant.
P/S: Would love for the management to remind noisy or unruly patrons to keep their noise level down, before it gets out of hand. I didn't come here for a pasar borong ambience. And Kay's isn't the sort of establishment where such boorish behaviour should be tolerated...
Read moreAllow me to share my unpleasant experience as I don’t usually vent my anger but I know I had to say something for you guys to improvise.
I went there for dinner, to celebrate my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Of course, I did my research carefully before choosing a place for this very special occasion. The only reason I chose this particular outlet is because it’s near to our home & people said the service is excellent.
Arrived there at 8pm, was greeted by the waiter. We were seated just in front of the drinks counter (which I don’t really like because of how noisy it is and we can hear everything’s happening inside the kitchen).
Ok here comes the WORST PART. Order taken at 8.10pm-ish and our food only arrived 50 minutes later which is exactly at 9pm. The table who came after us got their food before us. I had to actually ask the waiter where’s our food and why it’s taking too long 😅 felt like begging for my own food. My empty stomach was already upset at that moment. Then the waiter came to serve us the food without saying anything (not even apologising) BUT when she served the table next to us she did apologize to them for serving their food late 😅 idk maybe we’re nobody and we don’t deserve such apologies.
Food was ok ok. Ribs were ok, carbonara ok, but I have to give credit to the steak. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I really enjoyed the food. Service was not ok.
I requested to refill my plain water and the waiter said ok. Waited for a few minutes, but nobody came to refill our cups hahaha. The same waiter just walked past us without bringing anything. Thought I could have another cup of plain water before I went back but I gave up and decided to just pay & leave. Haihhhhh.
In conclusion, I am super duper disappointed and dissatisfied with the service at this particular outlet. Thought I would enjoy eating here but I would never recommend anyone coming here to celebrate anything anymore. Not until you guys improvise.
Sincerely,
A...
