IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Centre — Attraction in Sepang

I've visited this exhibition and convention centre multiple times for events such as the Home Expo, Comic and Anime Convention, and Cat Exhibition. While it has a spacious interior, some structural aspects make navigating it a bit challenging.

One major issue is that the exits for visitors are on one side only. When there’s a large crowd, the line to enter often stretches across walkways, creating congestion. Additionally, the main entrance is directly opposite the mall atrium, which makes gathering or queuing before entry a bit tricky.

The walkway leading to the main hall is often lined with booths on both sides, which narrows the path and makes it feel cramped and uncomfortable, especially during peak times. This setup could definitely be improved to make the experience smoother...

First at all, i got no chance going inside.

Ok lets talk about the experience outside.

Parking is easy as I reached at 10.40 am. Charged RM11 when i go out around 6pm. If you come around 11am, it ganna be a bit difficult. Many will park outside of the box.

Food. I dont go into the foodcourt since during the event it will be so crowded.

it is my first time having issue with network connectivity. Normally i have no issue when i visited ioi cm. but now during the event, i got no network. Finding some friends are not easy. Maybe need to install indoor telco reception. else improve? or free wifi? i did connect the "free" ioi wifi but does not work.

A very modern and large convention hall at the top floor of the new wing of IOI City Mall. Visited this place during the food expo and was pleasantly surprised by the size and good ventilation and environment. Air conditioning was sufficient and it felt cool even with the large crowd and some booths cooking. Coming here is easy and parking is very plentiful. Only thing is depending on where one parks, it could be quite a walk to reach the hall. Probably need better signage on where to park for convention center visitors....
