I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding the experience my family and I had at Symphony Walk on 25/9/2024.
I arrived at the fountain area at 5:45 PM, eager to enjoy the water fountain display with my toddler, only to find that the lake was empty and quiet, and the fountain was not operational. When I approached the information counter to inquire, I was informed that the fountain would be switched on at 7:00 PM, and that the musical fountain schedule, as published on your website, was at 7:20 PM, 8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM for weekdays.
Trusting this information, we patiently waited, only to be met with further disappointment. At 7:15 PM, there was no sign of the anticipated musical fountain show. When I returned to the information counter to ask for clarification, I was told that there was no show scheduled for 7:20 PM, and that the first musical display would be at 8:00 PM.
This lack of adherence to your published schedule is completely unacceptable. Having been informed earlier that the show would proceed as listed, I waited with my toddler for more than two hours, only to be let down. Worse, I was assured by the staff that the show was set to play automatically at 8:00 PM, yet even by 8:05 PM, nothing happened. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when the expectations set by your team and your website were not met.
To add to my frustration, when I expressed my dissatisfaction to your staff, I was given an email address to make an official complaint. However, upon sending my complaint, the email bounced back, undeliverable. This only deepens my concerns about the lack of professionalism and proper communication within your management team.
As a customer, I expect your management to ensure that the published schedules are adhered to, and to ensure clear, accurate communication from your staff. I cannot express how upsetting it was to see my toddlerâs confusion and disappointment after promising him an experience that simply did not materialize.
I request immediate action be taken to address this matter and ensure that it does not happen again. Your management of the musical fountain display, especially on such a popular attraction, should be consistent, well-organized, and in line with the information you provide to the public. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements.
