My original review below written on 1st Aug 2023 New restaurant at Arena Exchange, friendly owners/employees, nice deco with quality chairs and tables, easy to order and pay using loyalty app. Mendy chicken- it was dry and tasteless, Lamb- portion must be for a child below 12 years old, too little, did not get good value.
The response from owner on 2nd Aug 2023 Response from the owner 13 hours ago Thank you for coming to our restaurant.. For your information, the set you ordered is a Mini Set. The portion is quite small. Suitable for women who eat little or boys.. We have a larger portion for RM15.90.. We apologize if there is any shortage on our side šš
My 2nd review in reply to the owner's comment on 2 Aug 2023 Thank you for your reply, I paid RM23.70 last night for my lamb set. On your menu, it did not specify it was for kids or women with small appetite. How can you say that there is a larger portion for RM15.90, when I paid RM23.70 and only received a small portion? Before I ordered, I even asked 1 of the owners if the lamb set is the correct set to order, and he said yes. Come on, if you made a mistake, just apologize and move on, do not come up with reasons that are just not...

My personal rating: Mendy Lamb 3/5 Darsa Fried Chicken 3/5 (I prefer Uncle Jack) Darsa Porridge: 4/5 (Spicy porridge Marry Brown is the winner for sure! š¤¤) Coleslaw: 1/5 Mashed potato: 1/5 Salsa sauce: 2/5 Garlic sauce: 2/5 (I'm not a fan of SWEET garlic sauce) Lemon ice: 4/5 (Mixue is my no.1..padu teruks!)
For (Mendy/Kabsah Lamb + garlic sauce + salsa sauce) I would prefer Kheir Hadramawt/ Al Bait Al Yameni/ Al Shams
For (coleslaw + mashed potato) I would prefer Texas/ Marry Brown
I also ordered Beef Shawarma but I haven't taste it yet therefore I reserved my comments for later, perhaps if I'm not too lazy to update my review..hahaha.. š
This is totally an honest review based on my taste bud. Therefore please do try and experience it first hand. I may not like it but you may love it. So no harm in trying š

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my honest opinion. I've been a loyal customer of Darsa Kota Warisan for quite some time, but unfortunately, my recent experience was a major disappointment. The food quality has significantly dropped. The portions are large, but they're accompanied by a ridiculously small amount of tomato sauce. It's frustrating to pay over RM200 for a meal and then have to ask for additional sauce, which you charge extra for. It's a basic courtesy to provide enough sauce for the large portions you serve.
I've noticed that other restaurants, especially Arabic ones, generously provide sauce without charging extra. It's a simple gesture that shows customer appreciation. I hope Darsa Kota Warisan can improve their service and food quality to regain my trust and the trust of other...
