The overall food was great, service was excellent and the atmosphere gave off a really classy vibe unlike most chapatti restaurants. The service for this restaurant was amazing. The waiters and servers were all really polite and gave great food recommendations, they also had a really professional feel to them that makes me feel more at ease. The food arrived pretty quickly despite how its bustling with people. Food was absolutely scrumptious and really filling. I ordered quite a few dishes because there were so many choices to pick from and I just didn't know where to start from, all of the food selections looked great. Out of all the dishes I liked I just really enjoyed the Dal Thadka, despite it being a really simple dish, it was absolutely the bomb and goes really well with the chapatti. The ingredients all harmonised so well and emphasized the taste of the dal. The waiter Abu Bakar who served us was really friendly and patiently took our orders despite me taking quite a while to decide what to order. I'll definitely come again next time. I'll be giving this only 4 stars though because it's more towards the pricey side, but I can't blame them since I ordered the dishes individually.

So disappointed despite having been here for many years. The samosa has become smaller after covid, must be after the vaccine was administered. The pakora was mere fried batter leftovers with hardly any vegetables. Looked like fried anchovies rather than Punjabi pakora. Just look at the photos. The masala chai had too much cardamom with leftover residues. And again, my tea was not even hot. Gave up asking them to make it hot as it has happened before. And don't let me start on the service. Waitress just have to be told to bring small plates and cutleries and then start having to chat instead of just doing their work. Even after being told to concentrate on their work and less talk, they didn't even took it in their stride and could be seen complaining to one and another. The food is as good as the services. Come when you are not so hurry. Rule of thumb - if after every reviews, good or bad, the owners replies, it would be indicative of the quality of food and services. I have never wrote such long complains unless I was utterly disappointed with it.

I had a lot of expectation as I always see the place being full. Ordered pakora (decent), chapatti, masala chai with fresh milk (this one was the best among everything we'd ordered), masala bendi and masala fish. The pakora was freshly fried, nice tasting. Chapatti was soft and delicious. The tea was great, nice spiced flavour and just slightly sweetened. The masala bendi was alright, not fantastic, but edible. The masala fish was a disappointment, the fish very fishy, and not pipping hot although the gravy was. We sent back to the kitchen, and I have to say in this, the service was great, they replaced it with masala chicken since we didn't want fish any more thinking the fishiness will be the same for this batch of fish supply. The chicken came out with the same gravy as the fish, again, while the sauce was pipping hot, the chicken was icy cold. I suspect, the meat pieces were not cooked with the gravy, but maybe defrost or microwave and mix in the gravy before serving. Doubt I'll go back, but maybe I'll do a take away for their chai.

Guys, please go check out this ‘Finger Licking Good’ Punjabi makan place at SS15 (Duh…definitely need to eat with hands) Nicely decorated place, vibed with music that you help to get ready to dig in and ‘I need to FEAST now’ mood!! (beautiful and clean toilet!!!) Needless to say,Food was great. We ordered - the Bengan Bharta (imagine ‘softer’ version of Rendang with mashed Eggplant) - well marinated, slightly charred Chicken Tikka - the refreshing Chick Peas Salad - downed with the aromatic spiced Malasa Tea!!! And you guys know what, the awesome service staff, Mr. Abu Bakar!!! made our dining experience even better. Despite the lunch crowd, his is always wearing his smile, patience and attentive!!! It was even to the extent that my girlfriend brought up that who knows if Mr Abu Bakar had prior experience working in a finer establishment and he nows bring the 6 Stars experience to Big Singh. That shows how Great how he was… Good Food, Good People, Nothing more, Nothing less!!! Enough said and come try it yourself!!!

This is a MUST place to visit if you like chapati and naan, along with great Indian curries and dals! I don't know how to differentiate northern and southern Indian cuisine, but Big Singh Chapati do serve really good and variety of Indian curries. They have set meals from 11am to 4pm. Which you get to choose either vegetarian, chicken, mutton or lamb dishes; and pair with chapati, naan or rice. The set meal also includes dals, side salad, pappadam and a sweet of the day. We tried their butter chicken, tikka chicken and masala chicken. The sauce of the butter chicken and masala chicken were full of spices, creamy and has great depth of flavors. The chapati was slightly chewy and has a nice wheat taste. The naan served was a little "flatten" then I expected, but it still tasted good. The dals that come along with the sets were rich and delicious, although I don't exactly know what to call them. Not to forget that their tea has nice tea aroma and ice lemon tea is best! The restaurant is clean, service is attentive.

EDIT: Miss Nina is probably the friendliest staff member of them all. Came back after two whole years, and she still remembered me and my friends. If you're looking for good North Indian food in Subang, this is the place for you. Great food, great staff, and a great experience overall. May have a rush during lunch and dinner time, so remember to call ahead if you're planning on visiting at these times. Highly recommend the butter chicken and the cheese naan. Authentic Indian sweets are also available, so give those a try. Best part is, if you know what to order, it's possible to have a sub-RM25 meal here, so it won't always break the bank. Curries will serve 2-3 people, depending on your appetite. And if you're eating it by yourself, always get the smaller rice, because the portions are generous.
